Having a boost reading discrepancy. Friends new build, 15 percent lower, 120 upper, G3R on his S650 and car is showing only 11psi of boost yet it's running a 4.8-5.0 60-130, E85 of course. I'm pretty sure that pulley combination with the 15 percent lower should be around 14psi as it's running like a car at that power level. Anyone have experience with this pulley combination?
What altitude?

There are a few of us boosted here. Few Whipple's, turbo's, Vortech and all are running pretty accurate for boost vs DA except for him . lol

If it's an s650 like mentioned it has a map sensor so the boost would be accurate.

I ran the 15% and 115 on my car. G3R blower. Ran 8.9X @ 155. Made about 16-17 PSI

So I been having some knock issues for a while. Recently while doing some maintenance i switched out my thermostat for a 170, my plugs, and I cleaned my maf since I never have before. The thermostat definitely works. Im at 192-196 cht now on a 90 degree day from 205-210.

The car seems to run richer from looking at the lambda readings and the knock is basically gone.

Can cleaning a maf and changing to at 170 thermostat cause the fueling to change significantly?

New plugs can do alot, especially if the old ones were crapped out. Whats your mods and such?

G2 kit with 120mm pulley. Gt500 injectors, vortec BAP, UPR catch can, wengerd tune. I started with ngk plugs and switched to the Ford performance plugs last year gapped to 0.026". I typically run some boostane also.

Typically id see some knock if slowly rolling into the throttle or wacking it in first. But if I ride the clutch a littlw in first with a decent amount of throttle I wouldnt get any. Same with gear changes . Decent throttle and I would typically not see any counts.

But since these changes I just did all of that has significantly reduced. But it feels a little fat and the lamda at slight throttle is now in the .9s where it used to be 1+. Full throttle goes down to about .74 now. I believe before I was going to about .76-.78. Under full throttle.

I dont remember what i have mine gapped to, but shouldnt it be closer to .024 or .022 gap for plugs? Its possible you werent getting clean burns

the water temp stuff doesnt really change much for how engine ran, it just is nice to run a little cooler

Wengerd wants .026 gap. I have the exact same set up.
