I'd go Whipple if you plan to use the car for everything. I have a Whipple on my F150 and honestly for normal daily driving you don't even know it is there until you whack it, then it becomes obvious and a bit of a handful depending on road conditions. I have a Paxton on a LS1 C5 and it is pretty sweet, once it spins up. All things considered, Whipple for me. The one thing no one mentions is the tune, that is more important than the unit used to provide the boost. To say this is faster than that etc. is stupid, it's about the tune that best utilizes the strengths of whatever blower you add-

Probably not, the whipple makes a good bit more torque.
But the ESS kit is much lighter (100+lb )and the 10 speed has the car always at the topend of the tach...I'm going ESS
