I'm not asking to look for a reason to go with one or another as I've already purchased my LPF kit.

I'm just curious on why you guys went with your applications.
This should be a nice little thread and influence some people that are looking to get into boost!

I went with Hellion after a shitty experience with a shop in Katy, TX (since banned from this forum).

I highly recommend Hellion. I've been beating on my car for almost a year now on 12+ psi without issue. Their customer service is superb, too.

I went Hellion street sleeper for a few reasons.
1. I prefer turbos “have owned centri, pd and turbo cars.”
2. Hellion is reliable, so I knew I could expect to receive what I paid for in a reasonable amount of time.
3. They are active in the community and always available for assistance.
4. I like the mid/bottom mount systems.
5. The street sleeper kit supports a wide range of turbos, so I have the option to grow beyond the base kit.

1. Blowercarsrule
2. Simple clean install
3. No messing with building boost and staging consistency

I went with Roush because:

- I've installed a few of them on other people's cars, so I knew what I was getting into.

- It's a popular kit so I'm confident in the level of support/troubleshooting available from the forum and directly from Roush.

- The price was right.
- The Roush tune is pretty conservative so I can fill up with crappy California gas (for $4.38 a gallon:curse:) without worrying about blowing something up.

- I've owned centri and turbo cars in the past so going with a PD blower seemed like the next logical step.

I went with Procharger simply because of price and ease of install. I DD my car so I couldn't afford a lot of downtime. If budget and time weren't a concern, I would have gone with a Whipple or ultimately a turbo setup. I'm already wastegating this setup and will probably go further before the year is up.

Edit: My advice to anyone buying a Procharger is to spend the little extra and get a stage 2 or D1SC off the bat. I wish I had the larger intercooler but it costs an extra $1000 after the fact. Beefcake has a bundle with ID1050x's that is a good deal if you plan on getting an aftermarket tune, which you absolutely will end up doing.

I went tvs because of the simplicity of the kit, the reliability and the power numbers they make

Went with the roush because the factory warranty is still intact lfp700.
I know everyone is making big power with all of the other platforms but on the street your just spinning more unless you at the track with slicks or dr’s. But come 36,001 miles ill be doing a tune.

I went with procharger for several reasons... proven reliable head unit, low IATs, simple install, awesome intercooler, decent price.

I went VMP TVS because it is a great package with tuning. Seemed like the best deal from a great company . Car is amazing. If I had an 18 I would do the Hellion street sleeper . From what I have seen it flat out rocks.

I went Whipple for the OEM appearance and the torque of a PD blower.

I'm ditching the Whipple because I want to go faster and the Whipple can't do what I want.
How much quicker are you trying to go?

OP, I went with the Whipple Gen 5 for my ‘18 and I am NOT a Whipple fan-boy by far as I’ve had all Centris and turbos before and they did work well but looking at what Whipple offered for the ‘18 made my decision.

8.50 since I don't want an FC hoop.
