TPMS sensors from Costco: they sell "Dill" branded sensors

My original TPMS sensors in my 2016 have started to die of old age. The local Ford dealer in Duncannon, PA (near Harrisburg, PA) wants around $500 installed to replace all four.

Costco, where I've had good luck with tires, wants around $250 installed for all four sensor. They only install Dill sensors, but I haven't been able to find out much about Dill or their sensors.

Anyone here ever use Costco for TPMS sensors, or use Dill branded sensors?

Motorcraft is about $40 each, Schrader and other similarly recognizable replaceements around half that, on Rockauto.

I dont know how much install will run though.

Just suggesting other options to look into.

Buy your own discounted Ford sensors (LMR has good pricing) and install should be somewhere between balancing and mount and balance.

I don't have a trusted tire place nearby other than Costco.

They are also called America's Tire. Rock Auto is an online parts store.

No problem, Tire Rack sells them as well. Certainly better than the no name stuff on Amazon. Costco stands behind everything they sell. I would trust them.

fwiw, I used the ones off tpms.com for the mustang. $107 for a set of 4. no issues in 9 months.
bought some cheapies off amazon for $19/set of 4 for the colorado. replaced one 6 months ago and no issues... yet...

Apparently sometimes yes and sometimes no.

I got my replacement sensors at the local dealer. Wouldnt sync after many days of driving, putting the car into sync mode and deflating/inflating tires, etc. And dealer wanted silly money to sync.

Got a sync tool online and did it myself.

I've read here that some have had similar to my experience while a lot of other lucky guys like you just mounted up the new sensors and they synced themselves to the car without any fuss.

Well... I went with the Costco installed Dill sensors. They had the required sensors in stock, installation was easy and teamed up with a tire rotation.

I'll update this thread only if there are problems in the future.

I use Rock Auto for Motor craft TPMS and do all four at the same time and do my own installation. $42.79 each for my 2015 GT.
