Anyone know if I buy factory Mustang wheels/tires that with sensors in them & bolt them on will they need to be reset or should they just sync up since they are same sensors?
I just put new wheels and tires on a couple of weeks ago and I used new Ford TPMSs.

I watched as they mounted the wheels and tires and the guy did have to mate the sensors to the car once the wheels and tires were on.

So I would say they do not just snyc up. But it just took him a few minutes to link them :cheers:up.

I have to drive about 50 miles and mine auto registered.
Okay. I guess they will automatically link to the car.

But the tire guys did mine while installing the new wheels and tires.

I like that these new TPMSs show the actual pressure in each tire; not just send you an alert that the pressure is low in one of your tires.

I swear, this whole technology thing is gonna wide up catching on.

Oh I wasn't clear. The factory sensors that came with the PP wheels did indeed show my actual tire pressure.

I was talking about how, back in the day, the sensors would just trigger a little icon to appear on the dash screen indicating that the pressure in a tire was low. They didn't say which tire was low and certainly didn't show the pressure in each tire.

Sorry for the confusion.
