I'm at a full stop with this 9:00 wire location, can't get the left cruise module back on. How the F did you do this???

The most frustrating part, the wires are almost flat, so I turned them with the vertical (tall side) facing you and ran them in parallel with that aluminum slot, I cannot recall if it was inside or not, but it rubbed heavily with the trim where it locks in there. I’m 90% sure it went in that groove. Once you get that done be careful to ensure it doesn’t line up what the round hole that locates the airbag. It can be done, but I don’t know why they decided to route out at 9 versus 6 where there is plenty of room. I was just able to get in there and seat the cruise control buttons.

I’m sure you already have, but tape that clock spring in place!

Ended up with this, hope the rest of the install goes OK…

I did not until seeing your post, looked like it had rotated a little to the left, but I turned it back with the big connector on top and taped it.

Done. What a pain, did not love that project. Would much rather swap springs. But it looks pretty damn good.

Ironically my next job is front springs. I ordered GT500 CFTP front springs that UPS claims they delivered yesterday, but evidently to the wrong address. No luck so far. I think these springs will be the ideal front springs short of a coilover or coilover conversion.

If these springs don’t show up very soon I may put Steeda dual rate springs up front but add steeda’s spacer atop their camber plates to raise the front to stock HP height. I’m keeping the rear springs factory HP’s per what I’ve learned over on TrackMustangs.

Took an early Memorial day ride today. Stopped at the local Veterans overlook in Bean Station TN. Has been raining all week, was nice to see the sun for a few minutes...

I did the dual rates with the rest of their Ultimate Handling kit. I used SPL Upper Control Arms Rears to increase camber..SPL Front Lower Control Arms.. My guru knows the guy at SPL and it's really a great product.

I ran out of Camber Adjustment and figured if I'm going to do this, I'm going to do this.. It shaved 2 seconds off the first 2 tracks I used it at... I still have a lot to learn.. I can't complain about the progressive springs. I pretty much did what Steeda did to their Mach 1 test mule.

On the street it feels like it did with stock springs, but on the track as they compress it really lets you dive into a turn and roll out of it with confidence.

Looking forward to Road Atlanta on the 6th and 7th to see how confident I am coming off that hill into the front straight! Nahhh.. I'm a chicken...

Looking forward to seeing this at the ford show. Hopefully the turnpike is better than 3 weeks ago. They were milling and repaiving westbound. I got a nasty roof chip. I am heading out to pittsburg again in a few days. Will see if it's any better.

A person on this site had the same thing occur and the connector seemed to be engaged fully, but wasn't. Hopefully that is all that your problem. No fun having to dig back into the assembly, but the pain of it is less than the mental pain I would have every time I got in the car.

Could MAYBE be clock spring, or the connector as another said.

Just pulled the airbag and it looked like one of the two yellow wire orange tabs was partially sticking up. Seated it and the other two connectors, will take it for a ride tomorrow and fingers crossed that it worked.

EDIT: it worked. Love this wheel. Will take some getting used to the various profiles around the circumference but super happy with it. Heat function working.
