I ordered mine from factory.
2 seats. Nobody else
Pretty cool. My car has everything except appearance pack, red Brembos and RSD. Would be cool to have the RSD. I didn’t get to order it.

I never really understood the point of the rear seat delete, other than it looking pretty cool. Those seats weigh next to nothing, if you have ever taken them out.

my personal logic is I don't like my sports car to have more then 2 seats. Making it so I can't legally or safely transport you is way easier to explain to folks then the one time somebody needs a ride and I have to shove 2 people in the back seats.

I don't think it's particularly safe
It's cramped for back and rear passengers

so I just take it out of the equation. My car is a two seater in the same way a vette/z/miata/etc

Fair take. I agree with you, more so would be for the coolness factor. Obviously the R and CFTP don’t have them, M1 HP can be optioned without them. But, if they were really a hinderance, the 350, 500 and M1 HP I’m sure would not have them standard. I do like the versatility of extra space.

I did not. But had a friend that did. And added a little bit more :) LOL... :) ESS supercharged too :) He sold it not long after though. Never did understand that one.

I couldn't stomach Ford charging more money for less content. They pocketed a significant cost save and instead of passing on a price credit to the customer, they charged more. That's just insulting.

Crazy, there’s such a fine line between selling features and insulting customers…..I guess, either way, manufacturers have been insulting buyers for years. For example, my 2016 GT as much as I loved the car, originally looked like it was assembled in a factory that used their left thumb as an acceptable rule of measurement…. Ford fixed it, but geesh.

I just did it. I bought a second hand Mach a month ago. 600A car with the Handling Package. I plan to autocross it in stock/street class so this is a class legal weight reduction. And I think it looks cool.
How did it go with the rear belts? Did you have to leave in the female end of the belt buckle to avoid a popup on the speedo?

I did for now, but I'm getting forscan eventually to code them out and remove them.
Let me know how that goes. I’ve heard some have had difficulty doing such. If able to do so, I’d consider the delete heavily. That’s sort of what makes me hesitate. I guess though the silver lining is adding rear seats to a RSD car is a lot harder.
