I've seen pretty impressive numbers looking at the value of mine at 15K miles and excellent condition. I've pondered selling mine also.

I wonder if the batshit crazy prices of new ones are propping up values.

fwiw I paid several grand under your range for my '15 pp1 401 garage queen car from the original owner custom ordered with every single service record done at ford and brand new ps4's. had 35k when I picked it up a year ago. white with the rust leather interior and only option it didn't have was sub. he had it priced at what carvana was offering at the time.

A co-worker recently bought an Audi through them and the experience was fantastic.

During Covid they were offering crazy money for cars, and I came pretty close to selling them my Mustang then. IIRC, I would have made a few bucks over what I originally paid for the car.

you might squeeze another grand or so out of it if you try to sell yourself but what's your time and dealing with tire kickers worth..

Yeah and the stress of maybe getting a bad check or bad cash and dealing with idiots. $26,600 is a lot of money for me.

FWIW, I sold my daughter's Civic years ago. 1st guy took it for a 90 minute ride. I thought I had lost the car UGH. 2nd guy I went with him for a ride and he drove like a maniac. 3rd guy I drove and he bought it . I'd like to avoid all that if possible.

Some of the FB MP knuckle heads are something else. The extra $1-2K you might get from private sell isn't worth the time and hassle in my personal opinion. Been there done that.

private sale is hell on earth. The extra 1-2k that you make is simply not worth the hassle, if carvana's offer is good and you're ready to let the car go its a super safe and easy process. I've known a few people who've done it

Sold my daughter's 2015 Ford Escape to Carvana roughly 2 years ago. Super simple, quick process. They checked it over then we went inside for paperwork and they gave me a check. I would do it again in a heartbeat.

They bought a car from me and didn’t even look at it or drive it. Just gave me a check, and drove it up the ramp and that was it

I sold my old Silverado on FBMP. Got a ton of "Will you do cash and no paperwork?" One guy sent me several messages threatening to kill me because I sold the truck to someone else. Never again.
