Completely agree with last minute tablets, jammed up against the firewall, with no real dash.

A tuner or body shop should develop an aftermarket dash/display that punts the iPad crap away and makes it look like, a Mustang.

At least put some kind of dash with integrated screen in direct line of site. The other "popup" screens are not my favorite, but might be able to live with.

Yes, my CT4 BW had a nice balance of a regular dash and a smaller sort of iPad screen in the center stack, that was not humongous and sized nicely. And it had a few actual buttons and climate control switches. Whoever at Ford that designed the icrap dash and what manager or boss approved it, needs to repeat a grade.

The "current" GT500 was fine. Could have made both screens larger if desired. I just want them in a HOUSING, of some sort.

This doesn't make sense by nature of the car being 170k they are automatically always marketing to the "i have 170k crowd"

There is no group of people who do not have 170k and will buy a DHSC. LIke others have said, people sending that type of money on a car look down on a mustang.

How is what I said not making any sense to you? They are marketing it to the people who like mustangs and don’t have GTD money but want a higher performance one than the base Dark Horse.

And are you speaking for yourself? I’m in the $170K crowd and yet here I am talking about mustangs. You’re projecting some sort of make-believe elitism because you can’t fathom the thought that there are folks like me who this car MIGHT appeal to.

Not to mention your logic falls flat on its face when there are over 7500 applications for the GTD when they are only building 1000 per year.

Don’t look now but Ford didn’t invent the look of the new dash…all the major manufacturers have a similar look. It’s a design trend, not some “whoops” Ford decided at the last minute.

Have they though? They currently are the only manufacturer of an American-brand sports coupe since the Camaro and Challenger have disappeared. Their other vehicles are all mass-produced and the F-150 has been the best selling truck for what, 50 years or so?

The only demographic they’ve moved away from is the 4-door sedan because those types of cars are selling less and less every year. The CUV/SUV demographic is much larger. So they put their money in those baskets.

Your logic would also apply to the Corvette which everyone is comparing the DHSC to. Let’s not forget they have a base model C8 and many performance versions above that. Is Chevy getting the same level of critique because their base C8 crowd possibly thinks the Z06 or ZR1 are overpriced?

No but the Z06s are not selling and you can get them brand new with a 15k discount. That’s even for the 2026 with the new interior. One loaded up in 2lt trim with some extras with discount is maybe 120k ish. They can’t give away the 2025 left overs now.

The Z06 is piling up on the lots as are the DH. At Koons where I got my tires put on, they had three of them covered in dust sitting on the lots right out front. I mean covered in dust like an old barn find

What does the name have to do with it? The DHSC is literally the 20-22 GT500 in everything but the name.
