What did you do to your Mach 1 today

Deciding if I want to swap to the 350R steering wheel and Ford Performance door sill plates, or leave things as they are. What do you guys think? Would lose my color with the sill plates obviously, but don’t see any downsides to the wheel. I think it would be cool to have an alcantara wheel and the Ford Performance sill plates as to share DNA with the other FP vehicles.

I guess everyone is different but I think Ford hit the nail on the head with the Mach 1 sill plates .

I agree, I think they’re very cool too. Very much so the reason why I’m glad these are both easily interchangeable, depending what flavor I want that week.

Just go back from , Cars Show in the West Valley in Glendale, at Desert Diamond Casino, Car count was 543 . Great time , a little warmer that normal temperatures for this time of year 91 degrees. Got a few pictures to share.

Have you driven a car with the alcantara wheel? I think it's great, but some do not like it at all. Much better feel and grip. You don't need it heated because the texture doesn't feel cold like leather. To each their own, but I'll always go alcantara over leather on a car.

Honestly this would be my first time, I’m truthfully really excited for both mods. I think the car should have gotten those sill plates, and I don’t need the heated wheel as my car is summer only also.

Cleaned her up and put on the warm weather wheels and tires.

Got to do some spring tinkering...

Emptied the passenger side catch can (don't have a driver's side one). There was about 0.5 - 1.0 oz of oil in it after 1500 miles.

Changed the supercharger oil (2000 mile break-in).

Cut out a slot in the hood insulation under the driver's side heat extractor to make it functional. Some folks might not realize this but only the passenger side is functional from the factory because of the open air box, so water doesn't get into the air filter.

I may do that to mine since I changed out my GT350 airbox for a GT500 airbox.
