I got a liter of Touchless from Carzilla originally. But got a 5 liter from OG and a liter of Atom Mac. And got several Pressol squeeze bottles and labels for soaps. Made at least 3 orders for those... I really REALLY like the Pressol bottles.

Yeah as long as I dont have to hear him talk I am fine 🤣🤣🤣.

And I apologize if my hard stance against OG caused you grief... I have a tendency to be sensitive about things too and vote with my wallet. And I like what I like 🤷🤷
No need to apologize, I totally understand. He has hacked me off many times, mainly over him running his mouth on certain subjects, of which I say "people in glass houses shouldn't be throwing stones".

I have issues with Clean Garage and that moron who runs Yum Cars, he gives me the creeps to the point where I want to punch him through the TV screen.

I get it. I can’t stand watching DIY Detail as Yvan’s smugness rubs me the wrong way. He’s got a lot of experience and know-how but listening to him speak irritates me.
Yvan is in Australia at the moment doing workshops for DIY. I guess I could have attended, but then I'm not sure I could get on board with some of the techniques.

I'm a 'tradesman' that is inside peoples homes on a daily basis, was taught long ago 'the jobs not over until you pick up your tools and clean up the mess' as well as 'treat every home as if it were your own''. Can totally understand your frustration and the level of anger that comes from someone you trusted into your 'sanctuary' and they didn't show respect. Perhaps some of the recent added stress for you has been compounded by the loss of your beloved companion?
100%

I've lost my purpose and the only thing that's carried me through the last couple of months has been the arrival of the little one.

Every time a new to us contractor shows up John, I tell him/them to pretend that our house is their house and act accordingly. Seems to be a good plan as it's been working for many years and not a single messy work space ever.

Can't sound more annoying than the Pan dude.
I second that emotion, Vinny and much as I hate to did someone with a speech impediment, Schmee's voice is just intolerable for me. Probably a super nice fella, too.

I've lost my purpose and the only thing that's carried me through the last couple of months has been the arrival of the little one.
I've had to say goodbye to more than a dozen dog friends in my life D and it's every bit as hard on the heart as losing a family member because after all, that's what they are. The grief can be overpowering and that grief morfs into anger in a millisecond if the right conditions are present.

Therefive, I so hope that Olly's arrival winds down that anger engine of yours and you get back to loving life. You're too damn young to feel like shit all the time.

BUT, if you find yourself down in the hole again say in three months, please talk to your GP and have him help find a med that will bring back your sanity and reduce or eliminate that hair trigger anger. I am serious as a heart attack, D..please seek professional help if the Olly med isn't enough. There's no shame in suffering from Depression.

Yeah Clean Garage used to carry Yum cars stuff, I was actually disappointed when they stopped carrying it as I wanted to try it and I will not buy from THOR... I did get a bottle of their Wheel foam thru TCG once and it was decent, but no better than Brake Buster so I continue with what I know. Also I got a bottle of their tar remover in a mystery box and it works decent too.. I guess we all have what we like and who we want to patronize. :) I even broke down and bought an OG shirt, just the minimal logo one in a color I agreed with, no big words or flashiness :)

The Yum Cars guy is so shady. He was wholesaling products to Clean Garage through back door means, in turn violating distribution rights. When he got shut down, he then played the victim, along the lines of "he doesn't like me for some reason......."..................geez, I wonder why? I've watched him slag off the guy that he learnt all about what he was talking about from, even using the same mannerisms to do so. Couldn't get any faker if he tried. So, if you can't stand the sound of Matt's voice, this jerk on another level.

Anyway, who would have thought there would be so much drama selling bottles of soap and plastic bottles.

Agreed. The TRC guys went gaga for him, but his clowning around was immature.

Yeah and I noticed they are doing a fire sale of all his stuff now. They can't give it away. TRC has a few guys I can't watch either... And I stopped watching them as soon as they started having Matt on a lot of their videos LOL... :) TRC has excellent microfiber, but them taking on ADS was a HUGE bonus for them. ADS and KCx duo is awesome.

The same happened with WoWo's, substandard products that were pushed VERY hard, then fire sealed when it didn't work out. I mean, they are at least trying, but they constantly say that what goes in the store is very carefully evaluated and tested before being put on sale. Thing is, if either brand were truly excellent, then the sales would do the talking.

Snowy nasty weather here in East TN today, so I did some "indoor" work :) Nothing like prepping, and coating a set of wheels in your living room LOL.. New clean wheels are a joy to coat, just a thorough prep wipe with ADS panel prep, then slathered on a thick layer of ADS wheel coating. All good, now waiting for tires :)

Is it winter yet? Hell, I'd settle for a little autumnal bliss. This is day 4 of a 7-day heatwave with temps above 40-deg C (104-deg f), apparently this is the hottest place on earth at the moment. 🥵

Despite the heat, I still got out in the garage, EGO fan misting away and a Yeti bottle full of ice water. Even with some cloud cover, I still washed inside the garage today.

The Wildtrak was in line for a much-needed wash after its 1500km round trip to Adelaide over the last week. Being the dirtiest it's been since last winter, the poor thing was covered in dust, road film and plenty of dead bugs............par for course after a road trip.

My first port of call was the engine bay. After an initial rinse, I sprayed it down with Green Star and went at it with an assortment of brushes. Another rinse, I applied Hyper Dressing and blew down the engine bay to disperse the dressing and remove excess water. Finally, the washer bottle was topped off with more Bowden's Dry Spell before the hood was closed. Not perfect, but much better.

After cleaning the floor mats with Green Star, it was time to address those filthy tyres! For this, I grabbed SS Wise Guy and got scrubbing! From there, the usual foaming with Brake Buster to clean the wheel and wheel arch, followed by some KCx Wet Gloss. I also used Wise Guy and Wet Gloss on the plastic side steps.

Next, it was time to nuke those bugs! For this, I applied P&S Bug Off to the front bumper, headlights, windscreen and wing mirrors, then foamed the entire vehicle with KCx Active Foam. That combo easily removed the bugs, but there was still some road film on the lowers that I wanted to remove before the contact wash. For this, I sprayed these areas with Green Star, allowed to soak then rinsed. Sorted!

Anything else remaining on the car was easily dealt with during the contact wash with NV Snow. This is a soap I know I can rely upon when that extra cleaning edge is required, it will easily out-clean Carpro Reset. Following the wash, I had to add some Hydr02 to the lower doors, which is always the first area to degrade on an LSP. Following the blow down, I went around and applied ADS Ceramic Spray Sealant, then the door jambs with ECH20.

The interior fared well, so I just gave it a vac and wiped everything down with ONR, then Invisible Glass for the interior and exterior windows. From there, some Perl for the tyres and the job done!

Baking in the Adelaide heat did no favours to the headlights, they need to be polished AGAIN! And that's WITH the fancy $11.80 per ml Opti-Lens ceramic coating applied. I only got about 6-months out of the coating, that's despite "maintaining" it with toppers like any other ceramic coating, at which point you are no better off with or without the coating.

And so, tomorrow is the big day, my little man is coming home. I'm both excited and nervous, fearful of the unknown, but also optimistic of what's to come. The past week has been tough, I've been pining for his company even though we haven't even met yet. I just hope he doesn't get too lost without his siblings around. According to the breeder, he is more of a people dog than a dog dog and completely happy to entertain himself during alone time. Also helping the cause, he is one of three pups yet to go to their forever homes, which I hope means he has already begun adjusting.

So glad to hear Olly is coming home. And even though it is hotter than Satan's butthole there I envy you. I woke Monday morning to single digits F with negative digits wind chill. My daily driver is a salty crusty mess. So some warmth would be welcome here so I can actually clean cars :) Can't wait til March and April, spring is my favorite season, except during the pollening. :)

Yep, can't wait to see pics/news of Olly's arrival. I can top Alex's freezer report: currently -18F (-28C) here and... the power just went out d'oh.
