This. I keep hoping for a ~7.0L knuckle dragging street brawler too, that you can add as an option package to a GT. But knowing Ford, it would be a separate model that gets overhyped and overpriced, and the dealers can gouge on.

Meanwhile, I'm still trying to figure out where that promised Corvette Killer is that we were teased about.....
Yes! This was my post on the other thread before it got axed, put an all aluminum 7.3 in the DH, mated to a 6060, with DSSVs, strip out all the bullshit inside, let's go!

The carbon brakes are ridiculous. What are those going to cost for an option?

My Audi buddy is always talking about how his rotors are $6k each
On road they are fine. But people who regularly track their cars with CCBs often go to steel. Juice isn't worth the squeeze.

Didn't everyone shit all over the gt500 because it was DCT only? Now it's seems like everyone jocks it. People will get used to the Dark Horse name especially when the performance outpaces the gt500. Most are resistant to change. Happens everytime a new body or version comes out. Everyone gets used to it in time. Many Gt500 owners will move to the DHSC, I mean why have that much money wrapped up in #2?
Lmaoo That’s sacrilege around here 😂. I was attacked when I mentioned something negative about the GT500 not being a manual

Half the complaints about the SC are 'it needs a manual'
That's not really an issue. There are way more people that are fine with DCT that are willing to buy than available DHSC's. And we will see that as they will be in high demand. If ford put a manual in it, just think of how slow it will be.

I like the side skirts :-/ Im trying to be more positive in 26.

I also don't like the lack of a manual transmission. However, our days are numbered and with each passing day us manual purists are looking like seniors yelling at clouds )=

Ford Racing released that they will be competing in Hypercars next year. With Logan Sargent. Supposedly with a new 5.4. So there's that.
And they’re keeping the 5.4L NA 😎

If you want a manual, get a DH HP. It has the Tremec. The DCT suits the GT500 to a T, I’m sure the same will hold true with the DHSC being the GT500’s successor. And if you want a supercharged manual, throw a Whipple on the DH HP 🤷‍♂️

I think we can all agree that performance of the DHSC is gonna knock our socks off. That said, what I see is the name sucks, they mailed it on that one. Yes this thing will be heavy. The styling guy must have come over from the truck side of things. How Ford approved of the nose is beyond me. The grill is literally flush with the bumper. WTF? Yes, I get that it needed more opening to cool the beast under the hood, but the car is loosing it's character. This reminds me of when Ford restyled the 1970 Mustang to the 1971 Mustang. They turned it into a square brick.

All that is fine. DCT won't stop the sales one bit. It simply means those individuals won't buy it, but there are many more that will.
I don't even understand why these guys thought it would have a manual in the first place

The DCT was a primary reason I was interested in the GT500. That car would have been half as usable with a manual, as will be the case with the DHSC.

And I'm a die hard manual guy for the most part...

That would have a market of about 5 people. Not a moonshot collector car like the GTD, not a wider appeal like the DHSC. Not to mention the development cost of turning a lumbering beast like the Godzilla into an actual performance engine for a tiny run of cars.
