EG GT500 by AutoArt

I know those are Autoart images, but have you seen an actual one? Asking because the green (at least) does not appear to have a draw back of metallic paint. Namely, the flakes aren't scaled down to 1:18. If that image is accurate, I wonder how they do that and why the other's don't.

I have not, I believe those new colors are still pre-order. I have several AutoArt cars and the paint is really good. Happy to take some close ups for you if you’d like. I have Race Red, Orange Fury and Vapor Blue in Ford colors.

Better not. In hindsight, I don't want to know there is something better. Avoids expanding or beginning yet another hobby. Same reason I won't drink any wine but Boone's Farm since I was a teenager in the '60s.

Interesting to note the first two pairs on the line of five - same series, same cars, same numbers, but different colours (also shown on the backing card) ?

That will likely drive the collectors crazy, but I'm not sure if it would be in a good or bad way ... lol

The inside looks pretty realistic too. I can try to take some pics of that as well.

As far as how much, I’d have to think if I want to part with it or not. It’s one of my faves.

Was at Costco yesterday and stumbled on the diecasts, Been looking for a gt in Magnetic, haven't found one. I did find this one as I was ransacking the display.
