Diecast Maisto 2015 mustang ?

I finally got one in the 1/18 scale, white ( hope to paint it black someday)..I keep seeing a cop car edition on ebay. Does anyone know if it was modeled off an actual law enforcement vehicle? ..almost forgot I got the only one Sams Club had in the new display.

I was on the Ford site the other day and all they showed there was SUVs and Cruisers, but that the model could be of a real special edition. I have seem Mustang cop cars, but not in the last few years? :shrug: Mostly they were used a interceptors, no patrol cars. I'm guessing with the power of the newer police cruisers they are not really needed.

True, I'm impressed w/ all the stuff the different depts around here have...Chevy SSs, Chargers, and SHOs. They all look mean as hell compared to the ol' Crown Vics too. Not sure if they were designed give off the 'don't f w/ us look', but they sure got it.

Also can't look at them w/o thinking how they'll be cheap fun for the public once they're retired and go to auction.

The Chevys are actually Caprices. I do like the looks of the newer cars.

I knew it was something like that..Im an old diehard pontiac guy and giving up pontiac brand was painful a few years back. So when I see these caprices running the v8 I feel that a part of the brand lives on. But I know too that it really is the Holden offspring but pontiac got it to the states in g8 form.

I owned an loved my G8 GT for 5 years. Awesome car. I love aussie muscle.
