I forgot my GForce Axles are larger. But, There are plenty of thin M22x1.5 jam nuts on amazon to choose from. The OEM axle stub is M22 x 1.5
Bearings? Always timkin. My oem did the classic failure before 60k. Miles (known issue due to a design defect even new oem ones ALL fail prematurely). Replaced them and got my car but so hard it was pushed into a curb and split a flow forged tough af rim in half. Bearing was completely fine. Bet an oem would have imploded had it taken even 10% of the hitNSK, Timkin or?
Which is the best for longevity? Mine are starting to make noise.
I would buy directly from Timkin, and not Ebay or Amazon. There are a few things on a car that I will always buy directly from the manufacture. Most people don't realize products like Milwaukee on Amazon they are not getting actual Milwaukee products for Milwaukee states they do not sell other than from them or Home Depot. Just food for thought.Bearings? Always timkin. My oem did the classic failure before 60k. Miles (known issue due to a design defect even new oem ones ALL fail prematurely). Milwaukee on Amazon is very often reselled Milwaukee from HD promos, people are using the hack and then sell their stuff on Amazon.I would buy directly from Timkin, and not Ebay or Amazon. Doesn't change much. They still get quality controlled to be proper spec. We use them at work all the time and pre and post China they are the exact same tolerances and specs. No measurable different in quality/specs. And our shop rejects any metal that says made in China on it. We wouldn't use them if it wasn't quality.Problem is Timkin's are made in China now
