Is there a quality replacement? I have a set of SKF's going bad after 7K miles.

No help but what noises or symptoms clue you in that they are bad or going bad so soon?

Original parts at 35k on mine but have replaced the nuts, red loctite and used the revised tq method that's been floating around here for few years.

I'm getting bearing roaring noises. I ran the car on a lift and the noise stayed so it is not tires. They are not loose yet but will be soon.

I marked my axle nuts when I torqued them and they have not moved.

Looks like SKF moved their manufacturing to China.

I wonder if Schatz makes something that will fit? Is the bearing serviceable? I didn't bother to look last time.

I’ve always used TIMKEN bearings for a lot of Mustangs and past vehicles. Not sure if they offer a S550 hub bearing or not.

The Timkens are made in China too.

Timken was my go to till the QC dropped. Pretty sure the factory bearings are Timken.

Timken was always my standby.

That said, the quality of parts in general the last couple of years has been garbage across the board. Kind of a crap shoot.

Looks like a local chain has them in stock.

The BCA bearings are NTN which looks to be the OEM manufacturer. I got a set and they look identical.
