Avalanche is a cool color. Can definitely see the contrast in color next to FJG
Yeah, you think they are extremely similar, til they sit side by side... They probably are in the grand scheme of things.

Looks great! The mobile phone photos look weirdly unrealistic with blurred background around the object to mimic bokeh, it's the same in every distance and the depth perception is gone. Real bokeh is much better to me than this "modern" uncanny valley :-) But there's something to it, it stands out.

I manually blur them since it is in my driveway and I do not need visitors, lol.

That picture definitely makes the green/mint hue in FJG apparent, hence why it's cactus gray on the Bronco.

Ford does the same with Lincoln, same paint code, two different names. One for Ford, another for Lincoln.

I got some cheap “titanium” hardware to test replacing the stock bolts on the gurney-flap. It’s brighter than the “brushed finish” … they have other options for color anodized or the typical rainbow titanium style but plain was cheapest and I wanted to see how they fit.

About 1mm wider and uses a t30 (stock hardware is t20) and a they save a couple grams of weight 🤣

Why did you need to replace them? Were the originals rusting or fell out?

If you want to dull down the Ti bolts, put them in a hand drill and spin them up whilst you hold a 3M green kitchen pad against the head (I’ve done loads for my Ti bike), it will give them a really nice satin finish.

If what they are screwing into is aluminium inserts, just be careful and use an anti seize / anti corrosion paste (Ti prep if you look in the cycle market) - it’s a good practice to follow anyway.

It seems that not all bin parts in the Mach1 came from another Mustang model.
The Bronco bins provided the FJG and EG colors!

The stock ones were kind of marred up since new, and a couple of them get discolored after washes (I think it’s my soap?). Not needed but just something I wanted to try swapping out.
