I LOVE ADS Quartz, I have applied it twice now and it just works. It is a bit grabby to apply compared to Gyeon MOHS I did previously but in the short term seems to be durable.. Jury is still out on longevity at this point.

Agreed, I really like it as well. The grabby nature of it was messing with me a bit at first but after the first few sections you get used to it. As far as longevity, I only got a little over 2 years out of my Ethos coating and i was religious about maintenance washes. As long as I get at least 3 years out of ADS Quartz, I consider that really good. The road salt in the winter time here is really hard on sealants and coatings so I don’t expect the maximum as far as coating life.

Agreed, I don't get that kind of harsh weather here, we do get a couple snow events usually every year and we LOVE our salt here I applied Gyeon MOHS to my Mazda back in April, I really hope it holds up, that is one EASY coating to apply... But the ADS seems to be on par so far with performance. I washed mine today and the beading of the Gyeon is on point still after just a few months. I did apply the Quartz to a friend's S650 and I will see it fairly regular for washes, its her daily driver too so I will hopefully be able to judge it fairly well. I just wish ADS made a 50 mil bottle, I was sweating doing the last car I did, just about ran out I do lay it on pretty thick though, probably too thick.

Yeah a 50 ml bottle would be a good option. I almost ran out when I was doing my Mustang as well. Granted, I did all the door jambs and all the trim but it was close. Had to use a different product for the windows.

I got a bottle of their glass coating to try for that at some point, have heard great things about it as well... I did a July 4 big buy when they were 20% off Bought a TON of stuff. I did use some CarPro Clarify Phobic on my Mazda last weekend though, it streaked terrible during application, but I finally got it leveled out and it beads like mad.. Found the secret sauce was to wait about 2 hours after applying and clean again with regular glass cleaner, P&S Tru Vue in my case.

I did the same thing, ordered Quartz and the wheel coating through their 4th of July sale. Also ordered a bottle of Beads to try as well. Primarily as a topper but might also try it on the grilles. The honeycombs are such a pain to apply a coating to, might see how Beads does with it.

I got a bottle of beads a while back. It works, but didn't dethrone CarPro Hydro for me.. Only got a 16 oz bottle, I like Hydro cause I buy in concentrate and dilute with Distilled water... Still works just fine for me Hit my wheels every wash, sometimes hit the front bumper if I am heavy with bug remover after a nice long road trip... Got a bottle of the APC, I am really impressed with that, in a IK foamer it works wonders.. And doesn't make you cough like you have a bad case of COPD...

I ended up getting the St0.01, the Sonax, and the matching Sonax brush.

My only complaint about the St0.01 is the scent. It goes on super easy, I used a microfiber sponge. It has no color, and dries very quickly. The scent lingers longer than the ColourLock leather protector, but if it protects even half as good as that does, I don't care.

I used the protectant twice, did 2 convertible tops, the last wash (a month later) it was still beading nicely..

Well my S650 came in for its detail today. Planning on starting in the morning at the crack of dawn when I have at least 3 hours of shade to work with and its not as hot as Satan's butt hole. Anyway, it threatened rain and stayed cloudy all evening after the car got here so I went ahead and tackled the interior while the air was a bit cooler. Car has 24k miles and is a driver for sure. Whipple'd 6 speed and a TON of fun. Anyway, I got the vacuuming done, floors, cracks of the seats, door pockets. Wiped down all interior plastics, scrubbed the kick panels, wiped door panels, dash and scrubbed the steering wheel with P&S Express and a scrub pad.. Drill brush and the new ADS citrus APC in my IK foamer for the floor mats, that stuff is awesome ... Cleaned all the interior glass. Didn't address the door jams, will hit those tomorrow as part of the exterior wash. Gonna do the engine bay and a full decon wash to try and revive the year old ceramic coating..

Used car pro reload 2.0 for first time

Is it a scent, or just the natural chemical aroma?

The only similar product that I've used is 303 Fabric Guard, which is quite a potent smelling product, very solventy.

Agree, it's the natural chemical aroma not an added scent.

Also the pattern on that carpet is oddly satisfying lol.

Usually when this happens it's because I got something on unpainted plastic that didn't belong there (like wax or polish), or soap was left to dry. I just hit it with a QD and Megs Hyper Dressing.
