Mine is supposed to be here Monday... They released it yesterday to head my way. I have some trim to try it on next week, mainly the windshield cowl on my daily driver, its looking pretty sad :)

Same, my 17 vert cowl is in dire need of renewal.

I'd be interested in how ADS Trim+ compares to Meguiar's Hyper Dressing. That's just so easy to apply and since it's water based compared to lots of the other trim sprays, doesn't risk the other stuff around it.

ADS Trim+ is a dye and ceramic infused restoration product. It is not a "dressing". It is a one time use product that "should" in theory restore severely faded plastics for quite some time whereas Hyper dressing is something you use every wash. I am anxious to see how long it lasts, I have used solution finish before (dye basically) and it tends to fade after a few months on faded stuff..

I LOVE ADS Quartz, I have applied it twice now and it just works. It is a bit grabby to apply compared to Gyeon MOHS I did previously but in the short term seems to be durable.. Jury is still out on longevity at this point.

Ahhhh ok.

I've had hyper dressing last multiple washes without issue, but the trim on my Mustang is in very good shape and it's garaged.

I've never tried solution finish because hyper dressing even made my mother's 2010 Mazda 3's trim look black again. Just kinda using the logic of starting at the bottom of the aggressiveness scale.

It sounds like I've never really encountered trim that is toast.

If you are happy applying a dressing on a regular basis, you won't need restorative products like ADS Trim+ and Solution Finish, both are probably best left to faded/neglected trim.

Yeah, trim plus and solution finish are more for really faded plastics. My cowl trim on my 2022 Mazda CX5 is getting kinda skanky looking. Definitely need some restoration. My neighbor has a 2020. Toyota Rav 4 that sits outside all the time and their bumpers are looking really bad. I've about convinced them to let do that one as well lol.

Hey, I'm gonna do mine first lol. Once I see that I like it then I'll move on to other people's rides. I am commercially insured now, so if I mess up I can get it fixed under insurance if I have to. I made the move to do that A while back since I started doing so many other people's rides, just in case. You never know when something bad will happen. 36 bucks a month is worth it for peace of mind.

I'm getting there. I got me some business cards, t shirts and the whole 9 yards. Still just an extreme hobby to me, I do it because I enjoy it, but might as well make a few bucks at it... If it ever becomes a "job" then I won't like it anymore... But I would love to be able to do it full time and get away from my day job. I am on vacation next week, and have at least 2 cars lined up to do :) , did the same my last vacation week.
