@Buldawg76 For the record, those were NOT my words! 😂

Yes, I know those were not your words I was just showing I was in agreement with you on the numbers not being realistic for a stock block. Sorry if I made you think otherwise.

Cobb stage 2+ is about 350whp yea. And yes anything abover 400whp is risky without a piston rod replacement.

Its very tune dependant. Some will blow at 350 with a crap tune. Its hard for this platform as not many tuners exist that exclusively tune this platform well. Tunedbynishan used to be the best of the best, thats how i got my high hp figure from 93 stock turbo, but he doesnt do tuning anymore unfortunately

Id recommend the 2.0 block conversion anyways if building the motor, i know the block will hold to 500whp and the stock rods pistons to 400whp as speedperformance shop does these combos super often and thats the limitd they recommend.

Id also recommend to swap to a mustang gt if looking for more than 400whp anyways because its not worth the money to do an ecoboost to 500whp up, unless you specifically want a 4cyl/ecoboost setup at that high hp

The gen 3 coyote will hold 900whp reliably, no work done to the motor inlcluding stock oil pump gears. Just pick a fuel system and boost adder, and exhaust

I believe we are in agreement now as to what is and is not realistic and reasonable for the eco mustangs engine power levels.

If you want more then yes buy a GT.

I've been leaning toward one of the speedperformance options and see what I can do with it. I'm just not a 5.0 guy. 4cyl turbo is how I roll my Mustang. 😎 I remember reading about tunedbynishan. Shame he's not tuning. Seemed like one of the more competent tuners out there.

He was super good, huge gains over other tuners with same or higher reliability. He really knew how to work these engines, he really specialized in them

Not enough people tuning these ecoboosts i guess

I have a 2021 2.3 High Performance Package with full bolt on, Roush Cold Air Intake, MAP Billet Intercooler, CVF Charge Pipes, GFB DV+ Diverter Valve, Steeda Billet Throttle Body Spacer, CVF High Flow Catted Down Pipe and Borla Cat Back S Type Active Exhaust with a COBB Access Port V3 tuned by Engineered Motorsport Solutions (Ryan Martin) the car runs good with this combination.

The throttle body spacer is not for power gains but rather for fuel economy, you can pick up between 1 MPG to 2 MPG with it. I am currently averaging in town high 25 MPG and even see 27 MPG when filling up and hand calculating the fuel economy.

The last photo I was completing the install of the Cervini GT500 hood and had not yet secured the washer fluid line so you see it sticking up in the last photo.

During the tuning during one of the 0 - 60 runs with my wife, myself and 3/4 of a tank of fuel with a vehicle weight of at least 4100 pounds with passengers and fuel with the shifter in sport mode traction control on not trying for the best 0 - 60 time I recorded a 5.07 on my RaceBox. This was on a road heavily traveled by large trucks and is not ideal for setting 0 - 60 times and I was not in drag mode and I did not build any boost, this just a come to a stop and get on it. I actually should have had the traction control off for that run but I had forgotten to turn it off by dash switch. The RaceBox is showing Best results of 6 runs but I only made one run, the other five are from driving home and stopping at stop signs and red lights, the RaceBox will automatically start a new 0 - 60 every time you come to a stop. Here is a photo of RaceBox readout:
