Yes, the jacking rails are made from steelJust talked to Chris and he took care of me! Question for you we weren’t sure of on the phone, are the rails manufactured from steel?
We are here to help, always a phone call away, email away ([email protected]) whichever route you go, you will be happy with the functionality!TJ, I’m inclined to go with you guys because of your history and extensive activity on the forum, that is important to me. BMR hasn’t been around in years. That said, it seems like your “full-length” are similar in design to the BMR rails, which I would prefer, is this true? That said still making my choice.
Steeda rails you can also use the factory bolts that are there. Either one works. As an FYISo I guess after all my searching I got all my answers:
BMR: Boxed Steel Tubing 1” x 2”
STEEDA: Steel
BMR: 54”
STEEDA: 49”
BMR: Reuses OEM bolts
STEEDA: Comes with bolts and rubber plugs for bolt holes
BMR: Red or black powder coat
STEEDA: Black powder coat
BMR: $159 shipped after discount
STEEDA: $212 shipped after discount
Customer service:you decide
Now to sleep on it.
EDIT: My friend who has BMR says it also comes with rubber plugs for bolt holes.
No plugs with mine. I bought mine a couple years ago as well.Vinny are you able to confirm for me that the BMR also still comes with rubber plugs for the bolt holes like my friends model did? His is a few years old.

If plugs are that big of a deal you can pick them up at any Home Depot or Lowes or most good hardware stores. I doubt they're more than a dollar or two each.Thank you sir. I guess I’ll call and ask tomorrow about that!
I actually don’t think I want them as I feel they’ll end up trapping moisture, I’m just trying to see if it’s something BMR found important to do as well. Idk, just find this stuff interestingIf plugs are that big of a deal you can pick them up at any Home Depot or Lowes or most good hardware stores. I doubt they're more than a dollar or two each.
