My 2018 Mustang GT Premium has PP1, Magne-Ride, Active Exhaust, Torsion 3.55 rear end, PP1 staggered wheel 19" tires and wheels. . Dealer installed Roush TVS 2650 setup when car was new. Found out original dealer (under Roush warranty) replaced 5.0 engine at 6700 miles.

I added a cat-back Borla S exhaust. I am very happy with Active Exhaust for quiet morning starts and the exhaust tone in Sport+ or track mode when on the open road or at car shows.

I would not be without the Magne-Ride active dampers, even on the street daily driver. The winter/rain setup is nice when conditions demand a softer pedal. There is a noticeable difference in ride stiffness in Sport+ or Track mode. Drag Strip mode is awesome.

I drive my Mustang in the summer to work everyday I can. Purchased vehicle in April 2024 with 8700 miles. It now has 18700 miles. Took a 4200 mile road trip shortly after purchasing the vehicle. Turns out we properly broke in the replacement 5.0 (without knowing the engine only had about 2000 miles).

The car is daily driven nicely and also very aggressively when applicable (that is the purpose of this vehicle):like:. I love leaving stop lights. Lack of traction limits throttle position. Better results in 4th gear 45 mph pulls. Hottest vehicle I have ever owned!
Will most likely get a 23 Mach 1 and put an ESS or ProCharger centrifuge on it. Cars not for racing. It's for getting out of situations and if necessary persiut to keep the Felon in eyesight. Found one with 5k miles on it.

Did you know Ford put a new spare tire on the market? The only rim/ mag I found on the Ford accessories site. Is available for cars which didn't come with spares. I believe it was $395 with Jack and all, even center screw that holds tire in. I believe it doesn't work for Brembos. Other aftermarket brands have their own versions for Brembos. I noticed on a search of Ford all the cars came with spare tires. Didn't search the DH, and not sure if they come with spares.
I don't know about a "new" one, but I bought my spare and jack accessory kit when I bought my car in late 2020. Although it's still a "temporary spare", it came on a nice looking alloy wheel and the hold down hardware for it as well as the scissors jack and handle and lug wrench. It kind of looks nice but doesn't look like the regular wheels. I'm glad it has the same diameter as the stock wheels so you don't have to worry about putting it on the rear where if it was a smaller diameter like most of the steel wheel temporary spares, it would cause the clutches to constantly slip in the positrac differential while going straight down the highway. That would not be good whether you had the Ford LSD or the Tremec.

That really is an unusual justification for a fast car. 🤷‍♂️

Just thinking of getting a new 300a 6-speed for my wife, with Brembos. It's for commuting, daily driving, and not spinning donuts, drag racing, and other things deemed obnoxious to society. The original Mustang did great on the street without all the PP items, in which some are throwing $$$s away. But it's not going to be used like a little old ladies car. Plenty of engine "In case", which is the bottom line.
if I shopped a Mustang for my wife I'd only look for convertibles in colors of her choice. V6 AT would work best.

A Mustang V8. Preferably green. This color is not available.
I'm kinda partial to green myself...:giggle:

It may not look green in this picture but it's a Guard car

Get a " Way Back" machine. I'm sure you'll find one. Since they're no longer made.

The ECU in the S650 is locked and will likely stay locked. The C8 is still locked and that crowd has a lot more pull and money than the Mustang world. A locked ECU is....locked! Same with the F-150...locked tight as a drum and there's a huge market for F150 tuning.

So, if you're set on her having a supercharged Mustang, your choices are S550 with many options, or an S650 with a Whipple.

This is why I bought a 2300 mile used Mach 1.

I actually have two Mach ones. Just scored one for my wife a couple hours ago. Just sitting at Taco Bell eating some quesadillas, sipping a Coke with a Co-worker admiring my 22 Mach 1 Oxford White, and 23 Mach 1 Fighter Jet Gray. Had about five thousand miles on it. Have yet to see any S550 Mach 1 with more than 10,000 on it. My engine seized up at 10,000. Got the car for a song and dance from an old guy who couldn't fix it, and put a fresh engine in the old engine I have to my Mechanic so he could see what could be saved, and try to put it in his Crown Vic, if possible. These cars ROCK!!! Going to head home plastic Robin Trower. Now I work on getting a GT for my sister. She wants an EV, but I believe at least the 3.55 is needed.

Nope! The ecu on the C8 has been cracked and tuning is/has been available. The DCT tcm has not been cracked.

Sorry, I was thinking of the Z06 with the Bosch ECU. To my knowledge, those have not been cracked.

Maybe the S650 will be cracked someday, but I wouldn't be willing to buy one and hope. Too big of a risk to me. Unless something changes, I won't be buying a new Ford. Will just keep rolling in my '19 F150 and '22 Mach 1.

Taco bell has Pepsi products, not Coke.

What does this mean? You have a Darkhorse engine in your Mach1? I'd love to see some photos of that

I bring my own Coke. I hate Pepsi. I thought it was a Dark Horse engine. It's a Gen 3. Was Worth 10K+.
