If it's for your wife, what does she want?
How does the song go? You can't always get what you want. Ford edition goes, but if you order some some, you just might find, you'll get it months from now. She actually wants a 5.9, 6 speed, 3.55, and in green. No green available. But I have my eyes on a white GT Premium with A/V and a few things. The A/V doesn't matter. Neighbors are further away. I don't really know to much about new cars, and hear I could PPF the car a fairly dark green to match the Bullitt. Car will contrast her flaming red hair. Ford dealers are closed today or I'd be there. Not getting a regular GT because the 18 inch tires are not the greatest things. I figure performance items can and will be added, and may go with aftermarket air controlled chassis. Later get away bars etc.

Get a regular gt with 18s and sell them and put aftermarket 19s or 20s.

Getting the 2 GT Premiums with the base 19s they come with. One in white 6 speed for wife, the other Vapor Blue A10 for sister, who is kind enough to live with me take care of my son while my wife and I work, and run her own business. When it comes to aftermarket rims it's all about Cragar SS. You know how goofball they'd look on a modern Mustang? I've looked at all kinds of rims and the only ones I like on a Mustang resemble the ones which come on Mustangs. I like the Ford 20s, but the only way you can get them is to order them with the car. Going to pick try and purchase both tomorrow early.

No. Unless push comes to shove and some bad guys come along and have a desire for her car, or her, or her and her car. Does that make sense. People are allowed to defend themselves, or even keep an eye on the would be defender until the red and or blue lights show up. đźš”
Does that make sense? Uh yeah, sure. I guess. 🤷‍♂️

I hear those 18 inch rims make the tires spin much faster than 19s or 20s. It's really only the tires which come with 18s are bad for getting the power to the ground. They break loose really easy. Might go for the Night Pony package. With Ford it's give and take. Love the N/Ps rims, blackened badges, and side views, but I'm not crazy about the black roof, or the reason why a black roof. Must be a reason they do this. But my wife can drive, and has training in persuit because of her profession. This is why I'm getting her such a car. She presently has a real sporty Camry.
I don't know what tires the current base models come with but the Pirelli P-Zero Neros on my 18" wheels that are supposed to be summer performance tires really suck at it. Yes, they spin very easily so will be replacing them with Continentals. Something to think about; the sales guy at my dealer told me when I ordered the spare tire and jack option that my tire won't fit in the tire well in the trunk. He backtracked when I asked why wouldn't the stock 18" wheel fit; then he said something to the effect that he thought I had 19" optional tires on my car. Duh, it's a base model so they wouldn't put the larger wheels on it. Seems to me that even the 19" wheels should fit in the trunk wheel well shouldn't it?

Exactly. I don't understand Ford dealers, name it.

Yes, not that I would ever spend money on a new set of wheels and tires but I should check and see if 19"s would fit in the spare tire well, just for curiosity sake.

Did you know Ford put a new spare tire on the market? The only rim/ mag I found on the Ford accessories site. Is available for cars which didn't come with spares. I believe it was $395 with Jack and all, even center screw that holds tire in. I believe it doesn't work for Brembos. Other aftermarket brands have their own versions for Brembos. I noticed on a search of Ford all the cars came with spare tires. Didn't search the DH, and not sure if they come with spares.

2018 Mustang GT Premium - Roush supercharger - Borla Catback exhaust
My 2018 Mustang GT Premium has PP1, Magne-Ride, Active Exhaust, Torsion 3.55 rear end, PP1 staggered wheel 19" tires and wheels. . Dealer installed Roush TVS 2650 setup when car was new. Found out original dealer (under Roush warranty) replaced 5.0 engine at 6700 miles.

I added a cat-back Borla S exhaust. I am very happy with Active Exhaust for quiet morning starts and the exhaust tone in Sport+ or track mode when on the open road or at car shows.

I would not be without the Magne-Ride active dampers, even on the street daily driver. The winter/rain setup is nice when conditions demand a softer pedal. There is a noticeable difference in ride stiffness in Sport+ or Track mode. Drag Strip mode is awesome.

I drive my Mustang in the summer to work everyday I can. Purchased vehicle in April 2024 with 8700 miles. It now has 18700 miles. Took a 4200 mile road trip shortly after purchasing the vehicle. Turns out we properly broke in the replacement 5.0 (without knowing the engine only had about 2000 miles).

The car is daily driven nicely and also very aggressively when applicable (that is the purpose of this vehicle):like:. I love leaving stop lights. Lack of traction limits throttle position. Better results in 4th gear 45 mph pulls. Hottest vehicle I have ever owned!

I only read bits and pieces of this thread. If your wife is just going to drive around normally and you guys are gonna mod it, buy an S550 (the Mach 1). It will be cheaper to buy and will be easier/cheaper to mod.

You should do it like my wife buys shoes. Buy them all and then return the ones you don't want.
