Machtober the car looks amazing. How are you doing with curbs, driveways, and speed bumps? That spoiler is low! I’m asking because as you can see above I’m lowered on ford performance springs and am DYING to add the HP spoiler but don’t see how it would work.🤔
Thanks I appreciate that. I will know more about this height in a few days after I take it out a few times. When I was stock height it was ok and manageable BUT I will say it does require you to "think about your drive" a bit more.
Everyone's comfort level and experience is different but yeah it's a lifestyle that

-takes things slow
-Go at an angle
-do a drive by to see how things are
-Sometimes i go "yeah nah I'm not taking mustang down there" or have to park a mile away cause I c don't know if I can get into the lot

at stock I scraped a few times but it only has affected the bottom and left minimal marks. It always happened when I caught myself rushing or not taking my time. Personally if you think you'll still wanna get in car and drive to places thoughtless like a "normal car" it's probably not for you. This car is a weekend warrior not a daily which works for me. I might consider 20's next year to help if it gets too bad.

had the tremec fluid changed at 18,600 miles. Now shifting feels amazing!

I did mine a while back (Amsoil Signature ATF) and it did help a lot. I did the MGW shifter at the same time so not sure if the shifter made the most difference or the fluid :)

Took it to the Three Rivers Corvette Club annual car show. They advertise that it's open to all American cars but predictably there were mostly Vettes, I think 6 Mustangs, a few Camaros and Challengers. People passed by like I was invisible.

But on the way home I had 30 miles of playtime and realized, this thing is fast AF. In Sport+ or Drag Strip mode it's just a freaking beast with the ESS blower. If anyone is on the fence about boosting, please allow me to push you off.

Oddly I'm finding I really like "drag mode"

after all the steeda "tighten things up" mods plus the magneride I presume keeping the rear up/the lack of weight transfer when shifting is fun.

305/30/19 Re-71RS are night and day better than the Cup2s I ran last year. If you are looking for a second set of fun tires for track days or in need of replacing the stock Michelin’s I can’t recommend these enough. They were also much quieter at highway speeds (100 miles to and from track).

Went to the MCA HPDE at Ozarks international raceway and drove up and down the hills in the rain. Most importantly I had a good time hanging out with some other owners and got the chance to measure the height difference of the first front spoiler. My car lowered on Ford Performance handling springs is only 1/4” lower than the HP so I’m finally gonna pull the trigger on the HP spoiler😜! 🤩then I’ll slap the gurney flap on the back and I’ll have my dream car!(for now)🤣

welp... been mia here for awhile, but today decided to pull the trigger and list the Mach 1 for sale

a 4 seater isn't conducive to being a joy rider for a newly family of 5 (bought new just before finding out about the incoming 5th addition)

Installed the FP hood vents and white vinyl M1 decal. Debated getting the vents painted GBM to match the body but left them black to match the hood stripe.

Looks good! Are the vents functional? Like did you have to cut a larger hole in the hood?

Why did you have to apply the decal?

Installed the Ford Performance passenger side oil separator. I think the ESS project is now finally complete. The line closer to the center of the car was tough to get clicked into place, it's almost too long and is really in there tight. Kind of liking the new look.
