If you had $53,000 to blow, what would you get? A GT350? C7? A Porshe? Personally id lean towards a 4C Alfa Romeo or gt350.

53K won't be enough to option the GT350 to my liking.

I would keep my GT PP and upgrade suspension with Steeda springs and sway bar kit. Some new aftermarket wheels and tires and a WhippleSC running 8-10lbs of boost. That would be a heck of a performance vehicle.
The LE that I bought and pocket the rest.
Agree with you!!

GT350 is going to be amazing. I'd take one over the Stingray.
Or put the 53k down towards a Hellcat:)

A lightly used 2008 Aston Martin V8 Vantage Convertible at 47,000 miles :D

What's the upkeep like on those though? I mean, if ANYTHING breaks I'm sure it won't be cheap...

I'm going GT350. Optioned how I want will probably be a bit more than 53, but I don't like GM (recalls, bailout, blown engines...), in traffic, I think Porsches are too small...I just think the engine makes the 350 so unique for the price and it's all I want...kinda why I'm still on these forums because I have made up my mind and that's what I'm going to get. Something ridiculously amazing would have to come along to make me change my mind.

Addition: when I say I think Porsches are too small for traffic...it's living in Texas where most drive huge trucks and SUVs. I would be scared I wouldn't be seen.

Well I do have to admit that if all the mags say the 5.2 really sucks I might hold off a year or two and see what else comes up.

If we are talking new cars, right this minute, I'd put an order in for a M235i.

I wanted the 4C but with so few a year coming to the US (1500/yr) I gave up on that. Also like the C7 and was kind of torn between the C7 and my GT thanks to my ordering experience.

Probably a mint E92 M3 or a used 981 Cayman S, either with some light mods.

Or I'd just stick with the GT and build it up, like FBO, coilovers, wheels/tires/brakes, etc. while leaving it N/A.
