So...it's your first ever track day...and you were the fastest huh? What's your previous driving experience. Generally when someone talks about being proud of "not giving a pass" (I'm assuming you mean a point-by?) they are not in the right mindset for the group they're driving in. Did you have an instructor at least?

Hey rob Thanks for your permission. I think I'll continue. Maybe everyone should get a participation trophy. Hell why don't you post a story about your bad as fox body while your at it. Or not. why lie.
I wasn't giving you permission... reminding someone they could begin acting like a thoughtful adult or continue as a thoughtless child isn't actually permission. It's simply making a point. You had permission the entire time. What you chose to do with it is the difference.

This has nothing to do with a trophy, let alone for participating.Who are you suggesting is lying and, about what?

What has my 1987 coupe got to do with this?

Is there any other, off topic discussion you'd like to cry with?

Are you always in "personal attack mode" or do you just have a problem when someone else makes light of your childishness? :p

This was more of what I was thinking, but didn't feel like going into.

Since this thread has come back from the dead...

I didn't have any previous closed course experience before this. I have done a little bit of recreational karting and I did ride motorcycles growing up; which my instructor (yes I had an instructor in the car the whole weekend) said helps knowing where to place the car etc. I will be in the 2nd level run group next time and no doubt I will be giving the points most likely.

Again this was not meant to be about me, but that the car in stock configuration seemed more than capable on the road course when driven at the limits I was capable of.. which may not be much. That brings us to the point of my post... that the car has a whole lot more potential than most of us can exploit and to not worry so much about the capability of the car, but more so the capability of the driver.

Also, no disrespect for drag racing; I was mainly referring to highway pulls and red light racers. I've been to the drag strip several times and it's a blast.
