What information are you looking to get? Might help folks provide better information.

I know a couple guys that drive them to and from events. But that's about it.

Well, I am just healing from shoulder surgery and pretty close to replacing my Toyo R888R tires. Street Only, Maximimum Traction, Summer, dry weather only, No-Prep tires for around 900whp mustangs.

I would also be interested to hear any feedback on the Hoosier TAP’s from anyone running them for Autocross. Would be very interested in how people think they compare to Michelin Cup 2s.

@2morrow I am subbed now too, looking for info. Might step up to these before going to Hoosier A7s…once I get new wheels.

I also don't know how well a 18" wheel would clear my Brembo front calipers. And I haven't checked but I doubt a set of 17" would clear.

The only wheels I know for sure in 18” that clear brembos properly are the @Apex Wheels. I want a set of forged VS-5RS in anthracite with all my heart.
One day when I can afford.

They are nice but for me, I would want Bead-Lock wheels.

Fair, drag racing?
More of a track guy myself, so forged for me
99% driven on the street, with a slight chance I could go to the track for times. If I went with drag radials as a second set of wheels, they would be for maximum traction street mostly, I feel theirs is a good chance the tire bead will slip on the rim.

Hit up @Flyhalf , he runs an 18" apex and he was giving away some used hoosiers this weekend. He's also not too far away from where you live as the crow flies.

Yup! I keep an eye on his insta when I can đź‘€ wanna get apex wheels from him when he lets some go

with his help I now understand what I need to achieve to slowly be able to build Cobalt Filly into a NASA TT4 car…key word “slowly”
