Is anyone running Bilstein B6 dampers or Ford Performance track dampers with stock non pp springs? My main concern is that I want the ride to be still comfortable and be able to take road trips without having to worry about the car riding like crap. Stock dampers are ok but a bit too bouncy for my liking especially on the highway and they don’t really absorb harsh roads/bumps that well. I only have 9k miles on the car and already getting tired of the stock dampers. Any help is appreciated. 2020 GT non PP

Yes it's perfectly safe. Somewhat questionable, but your ride will be more stable.

While you're in there replace the spring rubbers with Eibach. And trim them a little bit too, why not.

The bilsteins work well with the stock base springs.

Best ride and handling compromise is stock rear springs mated with steedas min drop fronts. This gets rid of the brake dive.

The front is heavy enough to ride smooth with the 200 lb springs. The rear is light enough the 800 lb is a bit harsh.

I’m more towards the B6’s but the rear shocks are never in stock anywhere. Ford performance ones I can get shipped within a couple days. By spring rubbers do you mean the top and bottom rubber spring seats or the bump stop?

You could do B6 front and Koni yellow rear or do Koni yellow everywhere as well.

Ride quality is less about springs, and more about tires (the largest factor) and shocks/struts.

IMO, Steeda's Pro Action Adjustable shocks are fantastic, and give you the ability to tailor the ride vs handling balance.

It's also about tire health. Worn-out, old tires are harsh and loud. And the OEM A/S Pirellis are pure garbage. You can do a world of good in ride quality just by getting better tires.
