3 year old cars with 10k track miles for 8k over sticker - what are they smoking?!
To be fair, those cars were most likely meticulously maintained, at least from a drivetrain standpoint. I wouldn’t be afraid of getting one. I’m sure they’ve got some chips and dings so the paint won’t be flawless.

A race track driven car with almost 11k miles for 88k. Not even close to being worth that money. I think people are finally waking up and getting smart about paying stupid prices inflated by people trying to get people to even contemplate paying those prices. That's like paying $2 for $1 bill so to speak. For at the end of the day, that $1 bill, is still only worth $1. But as my Dad used to say, all you have to do is convinced some one that paying $100 for a Cow Turd, by convincing them its the only one left on the field, someone will buy it. LOL

I’d be curious to hear what people think these are worth (realistically)? I’ll start with 72k

Same here. But I would price accordingly to where they were when sold in 2020. Im sorry, For me this is not a 1968 Shelby GT500, Its just not going to be. BUT: In 56 years it most likely will be. If you could wait for the payback

Base 500’s with similar miles are going in the upper $70k’s to low $80k’s around here (a few in the low to mid $70k’s but those have accident history or a branded title/buyback). Not knowing what kind of miles they are and how they were maintained vs knowing the FPRS cars were well maintained, I’d take the FPRS car even if it cost a little more. Maybe mid-$80k’s if people put a little extra value on it being an FPRS car? If anyone here bought one directly from FPRS or knows what they were going for, I’d be curious to know.

Its crazy, guys were falling all over themselves to buy the track 350 cars. Like I said earlier, Im curious as to what the school sold them to the dealer for? They were probable in the 70K range.

I'm going to guess 65 to 69K. Bulk sale so might be even less.
I totally agree, and just posted a similar comment.

Its funny, people will pay the same money or more for one sold at a local dealership. These cars do have track miles only, but they were garage kept and fully maintained weekly, if not daily. When I did the M1 track attack, they let us walk through and check out the 500's, they looked fine, and the guys were making sure they were ready for the next class.

The main thing here is the dealer mark-up added to these cars. Like @K4fxd stated, the dealer probable bought them at a good deal on bulk pricing. Either way the cars come with all the parts removed, along with the owners kits, which are usually missing from any used car.

I don’t begrudge a dealer making some money, they have people to pay, make a little profit, etc. But yeah, assuming this dealer got a deal for buying several at one time, there’s probably some excess in that price. Start high and see if anyone bites, if not, they have room. Classic dealer tactics.
