I haven’t had any issues w his tunes as far as cels popping up. I am now boosted and he has tuned my car the whole way. I’m very happy with his tunes. No issues here other than ford recalls lol
Awesome! sounds great, I appreciate you getting back so fast..this guy really seams to know what he is doing

Wengerd has us all pampered with his speedy responses. Lets give the dude some room here 🤣 He was on vacation and only knew about it with an auto reply (he still got back to me within his off time) Im not on FB although I have an account. I noticed hes active and up to date on FB. Something to consider. Also, finally got my fore fuel system and his E85 tune, I need to send one more log for him (minor fuel update) and let me say, E85 is the way to go if its available and your boosted. No drop off in power 😬👍👍

Daryl is good. I am planning on a Remote Dyno tune due to my winter mods and increased boost to 16lbs. He never has disappointed

I plan to be getting my car tuned for the first time and wondering if any of you guys have experience with these 2 tuners ? I’m leaning towards wengerd , but I haven’t seen any videos of his e85 tunes. Maybe Lund but I’m not sure. Thanks.

I have an Australian whippled 10R80 s550 stang with a 1500 hp (93 rated) returnless KPM fuel system. I initially reached out to Lund but he wouldn’t tune it so I did some research and went with Wengerd who tuned it remotely without hesitation. Both 93 and E85 tunes from Daryl are amazing, essentially got it right first revision!

Same here. I will dyno my stang next month for the winter mods AND ; To see at what duty cycle my 1050s are maxing out with a None Return single feed fuel system like the KPM 1500 with PWM controller. And to test the Smoothboost electrical boost bypass valve., At 16lbs boost

Oooo do tell us more about the smoothboost! Does it need tuning within the car PCM or is it completely separate? Is it worth having?

I have only started my car weekly since it is on E85, but the smoothboost as far as now, moves the boost valve linear with the throttle position/movement and not open and close erratically like it was doing prior. I install this to smooth out my boost curve during exceleration to hopefully make the boost more manageable and not so abrupt all at once so to speak. I will try to have my car taken to a dyno next month to see how my engine reacts. Once Wengerd tunes my car for my higher boost level(Maximum smoothboost setting) I will then do a run with the rheostat in midway position and then one run in minimum position to see how my timing, fuel ETC does. Theirs times on the street I do not need 900whp do to traction issues, so those times I would like to be able turn the boost down to a more manageable boost level for the "spirited" driving I WILL or Will Not be doing. I will see

I think once Wengerd tunes it (and scales the boost) you will be good to go. He's a beast with all that (its what a good tuner does) I recently got on the "E train" and wouldnt have it any other way. Only thing is, if u thought the 5.0 is tough in fuel with E your back at the pump after 2 pulls 😝 i have ocd so half a tank im back at the pump (its not my daily) and E is everywhere near me.

For me, that was the main reason I went with KPM fuel system with bucket. I have made full power street pulls on E85 at 1/4 tank with no reduction in fuel pressure or performance. Daryl has always done me right.

What is KPM? Is it the same as the fore inov? As for Wengerd, I agree 👌 top notch. Ive never been tuned by anyone else. I sought him after I had a local dyno/"tune" and needless to say Wengerd gave me the insight. With the proper fuel/fuel capacity and his tuning the power is endless absolutely no drop off in power. I owe him a 7.5 k wot pull after a fueling update tune revision. Ill do it soon and report back. Super happy with this outcome. I cruised her today but didnt get around in getting that WOT. The previous WOT pull from 6k to almost 8k was scarry 😆

KPM manufactures high performance "Returnless" fuel systems which have a bucket fuel hat assembly. I know what you mean about WOT on boosted mustangs. I'm glad to see other success stories ike you. Have fun

Sounds awesome Doug. I’ve done 3 roll racing meets and Daryl’s tune has been great. A lot of people are telling me my muzzy is flying these days lol. As its non prepped and we go off on a 35 mph hit with my 3.55 rear I have to start in 3rd. I may look at a 315 x 50 x 17 e street R (instead of my 305 x 40 x 18 e street ss) to hopefully help me hit in 2nd. If all good I’ll then pulley down to 3.5 from 3.75 but hopefully my 1500 hp fuel system can handle it.

If your at 3.75 blower and stock crank damper your at around 12lbs boost. Putting a 3.50 blower pulley on goes up to 14lbs and WOT to me was a little sketchy at best. At 16lbs I want control of how much boost my tires can handle at the point I want to drive WOT. That's why I'm hoping the SB will do what they claim. As long as Wengerd can can set my tune accordingly to work from 16lbs (Max boost) all the way down to like 3 lbs boost(Minimum boost). ?????
