BOOSTane is the only one I've actually felt a difference with. None of the gas station brands seem to do much. $20 a can and half a can treats a full tank. Did turn my pipes orange so I stopped using it when I learned about what it can do to the engine and exhaust.

Well, he just wants to spice up his 89 to 93 which is a goofy idea in the first place
What's goofy about potentially saving 40 cents a gallon?

I called Lucas and you guys were right about the MMT leaving a residue, so I guess I'm done with the booster, thanks for those that helped with my query.

What is mbt?
What Mike said or the way I like to describe it is

Minimum timing for Best Torque. I guess MBT sounds better than MTBT.

Most engines will make the same power over a small range of ign timing. Lets say from 26 to 30 all make the same power. In this case you would run 26 degrees of timing.

Its goofy to save 40 cents a gallon for 3 tanks so somewhere ballpark 20$ to use a product made for boosting octance, not replacing it like your suggesting.

I would counter argue its only 40 cents a gallon, why not put in the correct gas in your expensive performance car?

Anyways not tryna bust your balls, just change the mentality a little bit as penny pinching like this causes thousand dollar repairs later on cars we love too much to be fixing all the time for penny pinching methods
