I'll keep you all posted when we get our Livernois Tune so we can see what the difference is and share it with everyone.

Joe
Yea, like that won't be a biased comparison!

It will mean nothing. Your interests are clearly selling your "upr tune" common sense, your tune wil be faster and quicker and make more Hp and tq than the Livernois. How could you post results that showed Livernois being anything other than sub par to the upr branded tune?

One of the magazines needs to do a shoot out, not sponsored by any of the participants. There would be an unbiased comparison.

I guess your not aware that I am personally waiting for Dan to get me their tune. We were with them at the PRI show to get set up to sell their products, because of how great they're doing with the Ecoboost platform.

This post was just to share how great the Ecoboost Mustang is and I can't wait to get the tune from them to see how much faster we can go. Livernois will not be sub par and I am counting on that to be able to offer the best selection of products for the Ecoboost Mustang owners.

Which will also be a UPR item and isn't on the table to be played down. UPR will have all the choices and be working hard and using ATP, JMS and Livernois products as well as our own. We are working hard at UPR to share and have fun with all our partners and enthusiasts.

So when you say Biased I guess you mean that it'll be hard to beat UPR, JMS and Livernois tunes. Since they are all house brands for us and I can verify that they all Kick Butt !

I'm glad you're looking out for all of us and appreciate it just as much as our partners at Livernois.

:headbang:

Thank you, Joe

Granted all i have is a Cobb 93 tune, I ran a 11-12 GT on the highway from probably a 40 and 60mph. I'm not sure what all he had done to his car. But we honked it off and i would get the jump just for a lil bit and he just kept pulling. I let off when he had 2 cars on me. This was my experience running an older 5.0 GT and not knowing what mods he had. I was on my way to work and passed my exit racing him so i couldn't really keep going or stop and chat with him. Gonna try and find him on social media hopefully.

He may have been modded, but your tune is also not a custom calibration like UPRJoe was running. Yours was nowhere near as aggressive. To get similar results against a stock GT you'd probably need to have somebody custom tune your car, and possibly a few mods.

Don't worry about him, he is just a Livernois supporter. I like his idea though. I would love to see someone do a true tune shootout with one car and everyone's different tunes...the tunes that are sold to actual customers and run on pump gas.

Don't forget I have the ATP Downpipe, CAI and a pretty hot tune in the car and the temps are 50 degrees, which in normal temps the results would be different for sure and by no means do I want to create HYPE to sell parts. I am just sharing the enthusiasm of finally driving the Ecoboost and making some power.

Normal temps the GT would still be just as fast and the Ecoboost would not have the advantage of the colder temps and be slower without question so the results would be in your favor.

No different than all the Blower and turbo setups that pick up a few tends and 3-4 mph in cold weather or more consistently. I ordered the half shafts and drag radials to get it to the track and be able to share the results.

LOL, my BS meter would have gone off too if it wasn't so dry and cold here.

Joe
You mention that the cold temps seemed to support better performance so why not add a progressive water/meth kit and have lower IAT's all the time? You could install a kit in just a few hours and be the first to show the performance advantage on the ECO Boost. :)
