Got around to installing the UPR Ecoboost Mustang Tune last night and with the 7015 SCT X4 and made a few critical tweaks to it. After having my butt handed to me by our 2015 Magnetic GT a handful of times. I figured let's see what the R&D with the our new tune would yield.

Went from a 15mph roll because both cars smoke the tires from a dig. With the car in Sport and rpm at 2200 cruising we did a three count and the GT jumped a half car. The EcoBeast showed it's potential as the converter flashed from the torque spike I immediately pulled past the GT and kept pulling till I had 2 car lengths by the top of fourth when I let off.

This is the most impressed I've been with a 4 cylinder engine. The gap was about a car and a half against our 2015 Magnetic GT with an Airaid intake and no tune. Previously the results were devastating and pathetic. The potential in the Ecoboost Mustang will absolutely blow you away to experience it first hand.

The UPR 2015 EcoBeast Mustang has an Airaid intake, SCT X4 Tuner with UPR Ecoboost Custom Tune, ATP Downpipe, AMP Blow Off Conversion and a UPR Dual Valve Catch Can System. I can confirm this set of mods is going to be available in a package next week. The car is absolutely a BLAST now and will shock everyone.

I'll keep you all posted when we get our Livernois Tune so we can see what the difference is and share it with everyone.

A tuned ecoboost would have to run 112mph plus(in the 1/4)to pull on a stock 11-15 gt from a roll like that..

That sounds like a state 2 setup in the 4 cylinder world. It probably was faster than a stock GT. The GT is heavier and the 4 cylinder with those mods got a nice bump in power. Tune the GT and it is a different outcome.

Don't forget I have the ATP Downpipe, CAI and a pretty hot tune in the car and the temps are 50 degrees, which in normal temps the results would be different for sure and by no means do I want to create HYPE to sell parts. I am just sharing the enthusiasm of finally driving the Ecoboost and making some power.

Normal temps the GT would still be just as fast and the Ecoboost would not have the advantage of the colder temps and be slower without question so the results would be in your favor.

No different than all the Blower and turbo setups that pick up a few tends and 3-4 mph in cold weather or more consistently. I ordered the half shafts and drag radials to get it to the track and be able to share the results.

LOL, my BS meter would have gone off too if it wasn't so dry and cold here.

Yeah, adding a downpipe, intake and tune will boost the power pretty good in a 4 cylindar. I have owned multiple STIs and EVOs. Those are very good and common upgrades for a 4. I have actually seen many EVOs smoke 5.0s with those mods.

I could see a bolt-on evo or sti smoke a stock street tire 5.0 from a dig with their awd advantage but smoke from a roll, a turbo upgrade they would need.

No turbo upgrade needed. I have owned enough STIs and EVOs to know. If I were to ever own another 4 cylinder it would be an EVO. They are ugly but have the most power potential of any 4 cylinder. I had revolver cams, meth injection, FP Green turbo, qtp downpipe and tuned to 36psi making 500whp on the stock block.

Yeah evo's are easily made nasty and 500 awh would certainly do the trick with a car of their weight. Not familiar with FP green turbos but doesn't sound like stock turbo.
The fastest stock turbo sti out there that Ive heard of ran as quick as a tuned catless, tire 5.0.

I think this car is going to have every bit of power potential if not more.

I tend to agree. With Ford working with Full Race it seems they have big plans for the future of this engine.

I hope so, because I know UPR sure does.

I am glad you guys are involved with this platform.:clap2: I also find it funny some people act like a turbo 4 being fast is something new or needing a turbo upgrade to happen. My stock turbo wrx was running 12.9 @104.75 back in 03,I'd think tuning technology has made some advancement since then:D Anyhow thanks for your contributions to this platform.
