How can I still achieve proper handling without a sway bar?

So I’m looking to purchase a procharger for my 2017 mustang gt and I want to add the crank support as well, but if I want the support I need to remove my sway bar….now this wouldn’t be an issue if I tracked the car but that’s not the case I street drive the car so I prefer to have something in place of the sway bar to help me handle as if I still had a sway bar. I’ve been doing reading and some people recommend getting stiffer front springs to compensate for the missing sway bar any thoughts on doing this the pros the cons anything helps! Thank you in advance.

I removed mine about 8 months ago and don’t miss it at all. I don’t take corners super aggressively, but I don’t go slow either. If you think you will drive aggressively in corners or track the car, then removing it might be an issue for you.

Fwiw, I’ve driven hundreds of miles on the interstate with mine removed and don’t even notice that it’s gone.

I forgot to mention, that before I removed my front sway bar, I disconnected it on one side and removed the end link. You can always test it that way to see what it feels like before actually removing it. It is basically the same as removing it, but the weight of the bar is still there.

That’s true I might have to try that I’m just worried I’m going to be on the highway moving pretty quick maybe switching lanes at shift rate of speed and spin out that’s why I created this thread I’m curious if anyone removed there away bar and put a stiffer front spring like the Bmr handling springs I think they have a linear spring rate 246 lb/in front

I could be wrong, but I’m going to guess that springs alone won’t prevent body roll when pushed aggressively. Hopefully someone in the know will chime in.

Stiff front springs would end up being worse for straight-line traction

A drag spring might be 150lbs where a 'handling' spring might be 250lbs+

How would it be worse on straight line isn’t most the load in the rear when your gunning it? I would only stiffen up the front and leave the rear alone…my current spring rate on my lowering springs in the front is 168 idk if 168 is good enough or if I should go for the handlings at 246, and stock is about 160

Adding more spring will help with body roll, but it won't replace a sta bar. It's going to roll more without it.

You will get used to it.
