Just had the Borla S type cat back installed on my mustang and it sounds absolutely amazing.
I don’t know how borla did it but it’s very tame on light throttle but goes crazy at WOT.
Seriously recommend it for people not looking for a screaming exhaust but a low rich burble.

tried the resonator delete a few times but it never sounded like this with the stock exhaust.

I run the same on my GT. Absolutely love it! Very mild at idle and cruising but wakes right up with a little throttle. I was on the track a couple months ago and the sound at WOT about a foot from the front straight wall was damn near erotic!

I have the S type. It was perfect with stock headers. When you add long tubes it gets VERY loud... Lol. It does sound great though.

I just think they are a great all round exhaust.
Problem I had with the resonator delete was the sound was really choppy, not very refined and was loud all the time.
But the Stype has a lovely clean sound and burble and it’s really mellow on low rpm but bassy as well.

Coyote catless or headers high flow or catless are always going to sound loud as hell, even a stock catback wont muffler. Something like a borla atak or corsa extreme, catless, now THATS loud

I got a touring muffler, x pipe, catless longtubes and boost, its loud but sounds decent, somewhat quiet by catless standards. Im going to be switching to a 3” s type someday

No idea how some people run loud catbacks with catless

Yeh I went for the full 3” cat back with active valves and x pipe.
Went for the black finish on my Bullitt. Great quality paint

Can confirm, my Bullitt is on ARH 1-7/8" bottleneck eliminators, meowless, twin x pipes, and Borla Atak. I drive it in sport exhaust mode, utilize quiet start, track mode is just too much. I'd like the ability to get my foot out of it and be significantly quieter.

Full throttle pulls, geez, can cause hearing damage to other people for sure, lmfao

I had a full S type cat back on my 22 GT with active valves and the sound was absolutely magical. It had a nice deep rumble off idle but really barked when you got on it. I did do catted Texas Speed headers and it got WAY louder. So much so, I put the Borla resonator on it. That helped but I never was happy with the sound again... I traded for my Mach 1 and I don't plan on messing with it any time soon. Lesson learned, the Mach 1 is tuned really nice from the factory, not to mention the rolled chrome tips are perfect...
