Ive always used the axle nuts that come new with kit. First set i installed, 2nd had a shop install. Its so annoying how wavy car feels on highway. Need to fix again asapI've been through x3, after the last one I haven't had to do one in at least 2 years. I would try new axle nuts, red loctite and correct torque on install (pretty hard to get to correct torque).
They're the same hubs, just different studs.Ive been through originals and two sets of ford racing bearings that come with arp extended studs.

I've got that going on right now. Left rear but I'll change both sides. Just changed left side speed sensor. What lights did you get? Mine, steering assist, abs, traction control, power steering not working. Same as with the speed sensor. I'm also running Gforce Outlaw axles. What a pain in the ass.Is there anything one can do to not have the rear wheel bearings go out so fast? My last set went out in less than 6 months. Car is lowered on 20s. G force axles, m6, whipple. Supporting suspension mods.
BCA just buys the NSK (OEM Supplier) so all same hubs as OEM without the drastic price swings.I was told by one of the vendors who also tracks to use BCA hub bearings. So far they are holding up.
How Low? The Mustang that was in the paddock next to us destroyed a brand new axle in 20 minutes last week at Indy in Mustang challenge. Ride height is critical on S550 rear suspension geometry, too low introduces weird weird angles and makes the axle overload the rear bearing, and destroys stuff. Use the torque turn method with a new nut. 98ft/lbs + 45 degrees. I believe the G-Force axle uses a different nut, so go by what they recommend and if that is the case our jam nut will not work.Is there anything one can do to not have the rear wheel bearings go out so fast?
