I got my lesson in cold with the wind ripping down the platform at Washington/Wells (I think) and I grabbed a steel I-beam holding up the roof to steady myself after a vicious gust. With an ungloved hand. I'm surprised I didn't lose skin.It does not have the heating feature. Which doesn't bother me, because I grew up a poor kid in MN and just dealt with frozen steering wheels half the year.
That and the time it was 9F and a stiff breeze and I though riding to the Buell dealer in Racine was a good idea. I had the full complement of heated gear. I'm sure it kept me alive, even though I was shivvering uncontrollably by the time I made it back to the house.
