It does not have the heating feature. Which doesn't bother me, because I grew up a poor kid in MN and just dealt with frozen steering wheels half the year.
I got my lesson in cold with the wind ripping down the platform at Washington/Wells (I think) and I grabbed a steel I-beam holding up the roof to steady myself after a vicious gust. With an ungloved hand. I'm surprised I didn't lose skin.

That and the time it was 9F and a stiff breeze and I though riding to the Buell dealer in Racine was a good idea. I had the full complement of heated gear. I'm sure it kept me alive, even though I was shivvering uncontrollably by the time I made it back to the house.

Benefit car show yesterday with my friend :). First time out and about for him after his ESS blower install :) Was a rainy day as the remnants of Hurricane Helene are still lingering ...

Such a simple little change. My HP wheels were bought after the fact and had the Ford Performance center caps which I absolutely hated. Ordered a proper set of center caps from Levitown Ford and installed. Much better. Disregard the rusty rotors after a wash :)

Have you damaged them getting them out ? If not, I might be interested … :like:

I put a small divot in the edge on a couole. Used a small screwdriver to pry them out rather than pull the wheels and push out from behind. But probably not noticeable when installed.

Got it back from body shop yesterday. A few issues with the paint. some fisheyes, a run. may try and get it to another shop to look at it and see if they can just wet sand em out.

Promptly drove it 200 miles to a locked garage for storage. and got a ride back to town this morning.

It has a rattle in the door panel now. there is more road noise coming from the rear window or trunk area.
And it does not smell new anymore, than brand new smell is now gone. after 2.5 years, seeing as how it say open for at least a week.

also have to wait a month to get it receramic coated. crossed 5k miles last night on the drive, time to replace the cup 2s.

I guess with the tires and smell gone, means that it is no longer a 'new' car.

Also...we found a 2003 red mach 1, for sale locally, 1 owner car, 60k miles. going to go take a look at it this weekend I think. That would put us at 71, 03, 22 red mach 1s.

Today I installed an Accelatec black aluminum reverse lockout collar. It was a pretty straightforward installation since I had put a plain aluminum one in my old '15 GT. However, I hit one small speedbump that didn't happen with the previous install, likely because that car had the MT-82 transmission, compared to the Tremec in the Mach 1. Since the stock plastic collar is wider at the top opening than the new collar, I had to move a small black rubber O-ring (circled in red) a little higher up the shaft in order for the new collar to slide up far enough to let me put the stick into reverse. I just moved the O-ring up so that it's now sitting right at the bottom of the threaded section, and everything worked perfectly on my test drive around the neighborhood, so I think I'm good to go.

I love how the black collar makes the white shift ball really stand out now. Plus, no worries about the plastic collar separating sometime down the road, leaving me without a reverse gear.

Thank you for this! i just installed a BW reverse lockout and teardrop shift knob. i had issues where it went into reverse without using the lockout. i eventual had to remove the o-ring completely to get it to seat properly. it works great now!

Agreed, first thing I bought for my HP set .
Good work on matching the colour of rotors to the calipers :like:
