You guys are wild. A 60-130 is as close as I can get to a dyno run without paying for a dyno session. If a guy changes any component, fuel, some exhaust, wheels, etc., he can go see if it made any difference. I can almost imagine you guys saying dynos are lame because they're not drag racing lol. I don't use dynos because I know how to drive lol.

"pink slips" you mean!
I'm sure this is in jest, but I mean entry fee to the track. Tune and test is 35 normal bracket race is 45.

TNIA is the cheapest road course and I think it is 200

Dragys are great to check mods. You can do any number of metrics. 0-60 1/8 1/4 braking etc. 60-130 was a benchmark that became popular for high hp cars that weren’t dedicated drag cars. Cars that were on low profile wheels and oriented more towards handling and ride. 100-150 is slowly replacing 60-130 for this crowd. Just as an FYI.

Not really. The cars that use that as a metric don’t need as much room as you think. It’s not a long pull for them.
Most places will impound a car for 150, take you to jail too. Too many idiot drivers here that will not notice your speed and pull in front of you. Not worth the risk.

Some seem to think that everyone is doing these pulls in traffic. Around here there are TONS of places for 60-130 pulls and you'll never see another car.

That is nutz on the street unless you are out west in the desert.
Crashing alone on a desert road has a few pit falls. Mainly, Response times are absolutely rubbish.😁

3800-4000llb car that goes 100-150 in

5.6 will travel roughly 1020 feet
4.6 will travel 840

At 150mph you are traveling 288 FT per second.
