Housewife blue..... a color that fell off the map until it was resurrected in a heritage theme. Hmm.

I've seen it in person and it really doesn't do much for me, especially when I can have whatever I want.

What's the preoccupation with Britney blue? My wife (who was around when it came out) was the one who said that is what it was called in the era. Aka, nobody spec'd it except the housewife types back then.

The world is my oyster.

KB is a good one to talk to about colors for sure. I think it will depend too if you decide on the Carbon Series or not, I believe the Carbon Series has the exposed CF hood? Some colors may not work well with that.

You and I both know the 6% sales tax in Florida (plus any locality tax) would make it worth the trouble to register an LLC in Montana lol.

I know, I know. However, have you ever noticed the Mazda equivalent of the rapid red? Holy crap. It stands out brighter than the sun. It's amazing. The red shown on the carbon series is nice too, the one seen at tje preview at Lemans

Yes, there’s a Mazda that I see at my church every Sunday and it always catches my eye. It is striking! Not sure what it is called.

I’m not sure if that’s the same, would have to see it in person. I believe it’s the Volcanic Red Tintcoat that I’m thinking of. The Mazda one I’ve seen in person and it’s deeeeeep.

The C8 color is Red Mist Tint Metallic. It reminds me of Ruby Red. It’s probably in between Ruby and Rapid Red as far as shades of red go. It’s a beautiful color

It is a gorgeous color for sure but i've never seen paint chip so easily. It's also a bitch to color match, body shops hate it.

Does Ford still have ties with Mazda? If so, should be easy enough for them to acquire some of this paint.

All tri-stage paints are hated by body shops. Chipping is an application issue, not a paint composition issue.
