What up guys,

I'm just wondering if anyone has used the LRX tune device from Lund Racing. I recently just purchased and about to send them some data logging information. I have had 5.0's in the past that have been tuned. But this is my first time doing a tune with a tuner device for my 2022 Mach 1. I'm just wondering if anyone has had any experience with this tuner device? Do you love it? Hate it? What should I expect? Will it perform significantly better than stock? If anyone has ever used this LRX device before, please let me know your experience with it. Thank you!

Some guys here are very anti-Lund. The decision is yours. The device appears to be way better than the RTD.

Yeah I was definitely hoping to see some actual first person info about the LRX than just more anti lund stuff. Anyone actually use one yet?

not to totally derail the thread, but why do you give a g damn what the stupid dongle is that programs the PCM?

You're still paying $400 for $30 worth of plastic and some interface chips.

If you saw under the hood of a Lund tune you would be anti Lund too.

For the same price, how is this thing better than an MPVI3? Can it use external additional inputs like Wideband O2 sensor, MAP sensor etc and integrate that data into whatever datalogging software Lund uses? (VCM Scanner can)

Is lund the only one that can write tunes to this, or can anyone access it and send and retrieve files like HP tuners stuff?

The Lund product page has 0 information on it, so it must be so far advanced that none of us pleebs can understand it.

Going off past practices from him I think it is locked to whatever software he uses. HP tuners and PCMtec are 2 I know of.

I doubt it can user log the way a MPVI3 can.

@beefcake has a new device that is supposed to be what the livewire wanted to be. I forget the name of it.

When it comes to tuning Lund is the best they make any combination run the best while still giving you the most safe power that’s why they hold all the records and true fast guys rely on them
they do not hold all the records. They can’t make all the cars run. Good that’s why we dumped them two years ago because they couldn’t tune our car correctly.

They’re not even close to the fastest n/a car.

Device is like an Atari compared to the new avid device

A year from now will be completely obsolete and a big reason will be because of their device

their arrogance got the best of them and they’ll never have access to this device

And their largest Tuner in the world sent them over million dollars me they couldn’t do my car and basically told me to pound salt.
