My Mach 1 Track Attack Experience @ Ford Performance School

First of all, I know this topic has probably been covered multiple times, but it was such a cool experience that I just had to do another thread as I attended Mach 1 track attack today. Such an awesome day at the Ford performance school. If anybody can still go and is on the fence, I highly recommend that you pull the trigger and do this event as it was amazing. My only regret is I didn't opt for a period that had a second day.

Might I inquire of the best way to go about scheduling it. There have been many things that have been unclear or unresolved (still missing a mudflap from the dealer) from the dealer I purchased my 23 HP package a couple mounts ago.

it's been I a minute since I scheduled the date but I believe I just looked at the schedule on the website. Picked the dates that would work for me and called the number. It was easy and they just needed my VIN.

Of course, I am aware of the disconnect, however not having the information readily available is the thing I've struggled with
This forum has been a huge relief, in that regard, instead of continuing conversations with inept dealers.

If you can do it man I highly suggest it. I'll be honest I was a little on the fence at first but thank goodness I did it. So much fun. There was even a mix up as I have an automatic but they set me up for a manual and to be honest it was probably my fault talking to the other attendees. Regardless as someone who hasn't driven stick in 15 years except for a quick reacquaintance a week ago the instructions made it very easy. Best mistake ever!

I was there for GT500 Track Attack last month (June) which was also awesome, but one of the instructors made the comment that only around 20% of new purchasers eligible for track attack actually attend. That is pretty sad for such an exceptional perk.

When we purchased our car, the dealer was fantastic with knowledge about the car & all its nuance. A great talk with the owner and why he ordered the car the way he did, complete walk around with the service director & our salesman plus they put it on a lift to show me the underside to explain all the this and that’s. They showed me almost all the features on the digital dash as well as the mode settings. This was not their first rodeo.
It’s disconcerting to hear from fellow mach1 owners who didn’t get the proper shake down.

After attending it is indeed sad sir. And I don't know if they did an instructor ride along for the GT500 but the Mach 1 ride was definitely eye opening.

I got lucky too, got put with a group that was pushing pretty good. Was passing other groups on our second and third track run

Great experience, Black 5 was the car I drove last year. The second day was fun as well. Highly recommended if you can swing it.
