If you want to try a little softer tire, SuperCar 3 is a 220 tread wear. Not sure how much more it would help over the Indy’s

What did I learn today.

1. Don't do a big smokie burnout with these tires. They become dangerous.

2. These tires are by no means made for the drag strip. Period.

3. You cannot find a sweet spot at the drag strip with these tires.

Have to launch off idle.
Ease into it.
Short shift 1-2
They will break loose through 3rd no matter what. 4th your good.

Yea, with hard tires all you want is a short 1 to 2 second spin. Just gets the crap off them so they are clean.

2 cars were running consistent 6.50 in the 1/4 (test n tune)
Tried in the groove, outta the groove ... got my best run in the groove.
Was groovy baby.

Next year. some 305/40R18 drag radials . 17's would be better . DO they fit on the rear with BASE GT brakes ?

When you posted this, I didn’t respond. Just thought, yep this is going to be hot garbage. Next to impossible on a hard street tire. I’d say you did about as best as you could. Not being able to find the sweet spot period, sums it up.

Ton-o-fun . Was shocked with high 12's... thought it was gonna be a 14 second kinda day. Worse run for me was a 13.3 @ 109 .

There was a 2023 GT PP car on Nitto G2 / MT82 and he was running 14.5-14.7 at 97-99 mph all day. He only had problems spinning a bit outta the hole.
