Launching......a donut

So I put my GT auto in Track mode and did a donut.(first ever). It felt a little off. At the end of the first rotation the engine basically stopped and then took off again...

Method was,turn wheel hold brake a little, stab gas to floor and release brake....and hold gas on floor....I hit the brakes near the end of the second rotation, I knew the curb was close....video won't load....

What did I miss, is some nanny still on?..

Stability control (Advancetrac) ?

If you tap the traction control button / it stay on the dash screen traction control off - but if you press and hold that button for 5 or 6 seconds it says advance track off

Not shure exactly what the differences are between the 2 but I hope someone else here can chime in
