I have the GT350 R fitment on my MACH1 now. fronts are 19x11 +24 with a 305/30, and the tire is only about a pinky finger away from hitting the strut. a 315 would be very close.
That’s a metric crapton of rubber. How much camber are you running?

I have a GT350 though.
You might need a small spacer. Frankly I'm a little stumped why squeeze a 315 on a 10.5" wheel, when a 315 is usually slightly too wide for an 11, square on an 11.5, and ideal on a 12" wheel.

In cases like these where its close (and it looks like its close), it comes down to the physical tire in question. Not all makes/models of 315 tire are the same physical width, and when you squeeze a tire on a narrow rim (like a 315 on a 10.5), sometimes the pinched tire is like half way between a 315 and a 305.

My math tells me I'd expect to want a ~9mm spacer, which is basically a no-go. 5mm is max I'd use without putting on extended studs.

Maybe someone will respond who has done that, but you're not getting 'full value' out of the average tire by squeezing it on a rim that's basically 1" too narrow. 305 on a 10.5 is only 1/2 too narrow and that's usually close enough for most of you all. =P

I hope someone comes along with first hand experience with that specific fit.

Stock, so -1.3 ish I would guess from the factory. (Probably time for an alignment, but I cringe every time I have to let some teenager touch my car) I do have the factory installed camber plates, but I haven't taken the locking pin/bolt out of them. I haven't lowered the car either though. Rears are 19x11.5 +56 with a 325/30. Plenty of room back there. I bet I could fit a 345 if I had a 12" wide wheel

a 315 on 10.5" wide wheel isn't going to improve the handling or grip anyway.

2018 Base GT350. FRPP .5-.75” lowering springs. Will the 315/30/19’s fit up front without any issues or will a small spacer be needed on the front 10.5” wheels?

Ultimately would like to run a square 315/30/19 setup if possible.
You have a whole string of useless responses from people who don't have GT350's. This happens a lot in this sub forum for some reason. With the exception of @NightmareMoon's posts, everything everyone else said is not applicable to your car.

I do have a GT350 and I've run 315/30x19 MPSC2's on 11" rims at the front with a 27mm offset and the GT350 front track-spec camber of -2.2 degrees. They fit and work fine. If you put them on a 10.5" OEM front rim, you might need a 3mm spacer. I run GT350R front hubs, OEM GT350 rear rims and a 35mm spacer. Fits just fine. Other tires might be wider so check the width and compare with the MPSC2.

Hey! I acknowledge my lack of relevance. We were just waiting for you to come along.

To be clear, you can fit a 315 between a GT’s strut and fender*, easily within a 350’s fenders. You just have to get the offset and camber exactly right.

How is it useless? If a 315 will fit on my car, for sure it will fit on a GT 350 provided he has the right offset or spacer

The OP asked a question about tire fit on his wheels and his car. His wheels.

Bs, the brand or model of car is irrelevant to the correct/best tire width for a given wheel size… and 315 on a 10.5 is far to be the optimum combination for handling
So a bunch of useful posts that are relevant regardless of what you drive
Now obviously if the op is more interested in look than maximum handling, what is optimal is pretty much irrelevant

Yup. And so with some basic logical deduction, the comparison of my wheel dimensions would indicate that OP would need a small spacer in front to run a 315(sub optimally) , or, get a different wheel.

Lowered on springs/struts, with 295/35/19 I’m out of space, at factory height and the 30 aspect I believe it!

Post whatever you decide to roll with OP, I like seeing these fitment posts unfold.

315 square would be sick for no other reason than bigger numbers are cool.

You said that before, but a lot of guys with GTs put 305s on 11s and run square setups. Its not even hard. You just need camber plates and a ~26 offset. Theres more space down there if you go looking for it.

camber plates do two things, they move the strut inboard giving you more total space and they tilt the wheel which helps the outside tuck under the fender. Camber bolts are not the same thing. Those give you the tilt but not the extra space. The rest is just getting the right offset, which is well documented and tested for 305s.
