I used Walker 41976 in place of the cats on my Stainless power headers. They are the correct Length and 3ID-3OD. Just like the cats that came with the Headers. My tuner turned off the rear O2s.
How easy were these to install for you?

I bought these - correct size and everything just can’t get the cats to slide out after loosening the clamps that hold them in. Do I need to drop more of the exhaust ?

I installed mine from the start. Never had the cats on.

Anybody have this issue like me? Trying to delete the hi flow cats that are already installed?

As easy as one could expect. You have to pull back the exhaust to get enough seperation between the cats and the connection pipe, but otherwise they just slip over the end of the header and into the connection pipes. (S shaped section)

by pull back I assume you mean loosening the clamps and dropping it ?

I mean you have to loosen the clamps at both ends of the cats, as well as the butt clamps at the resonator. Then you need to slide the entire cat back section of the exhaust back a bit to gain enough clearance to rotate the S shaped connection pipes down and off the cats. If you have active exhaust, you will also need to unplug the connectors at the valves on the mufflers otherwise they will hit the body

Okay yeah that’s easy enough. No active exhaust here. I’ll have to give a try tonight/tomorrow and see how it goes. The high flow cats are nice but I’m looking into boosting the car in the near future

Last thing totally forgot , will I have to remove the downstream o2s to do this?

I just unplug them and leave them in the connection pipes.
