What brake pad (front and back) would you gents recommend for me as a daily/track Brembo PP on M4PS? One year track experience.

Do yourself a favor and try not to do the whole one pad solves all. There is not pad that is good for the track and the street. With your experience I would bet you'd run out of the R10 pad before long. Just get a set of GS-1s and the R16/R12 combo and swap them when you go to the track.

Trust me when I say this, I've spent thousands trying to find the one pad fits all and it doesn't exist, lol! :like:

You could get away with an R10 combo for a little bit, but you'd spend more money in the long run replacing them more often than an R12 or R16 combo!

@tosha here's the update!

The brakes are incredible!! The bite can be modulated quite well so daily driving the pad is no issue. There is some slight noise when coming to a slow stop, but absolutely no noise once your above 25 mph or so. The dust is pretty heavy, but not the worst I've seen!

The bite is quite a bit stronger than my previous pads which really helps give you some awesome confidence in the braking zones. I'll update again after my track day!

The only issue I'm having right now is I get a very slight clunk noise when I change directions and brake the first time. I'm betting its the pads moving slightly in the caliper. Anyone else have this issue?

Either way definitely a happy purchase!
When you get the noise on a slow stop, is it quiet compound noise or a loud shriek sound?

Just curious as I’m getting the latter from one of my R10s and I’m not quite sure why. Seems to be getting worse as I put more miles on…

This x10 . Annoying as fingernails across a blackboard ha-ha.
Ok same but only on one wheel haha. I expected a compound grating noise, but it sounds more like a really loud version of rubbing your finger around a wine glass

So I actually had to switch away from the R10s to the GS-1 compound. After my first track day with them they squealed very loudly. As you use the material it becomes harder with each heat cycle and squeals more. I also found that if you rinse the brake dust off of the calipers and pads with a hose they are quiet for a day or so. If the squeal is too bad for you (it was for me) just get the GS-1 pads!

Edit: I see your saying its only one wheel that's squealing. That is usually a tell tale sign that a piece of debris or a rock got wedged between the pad and rotor, do you see any weird wear lines on the rotor? If not, its possible you got more heat on that side than the other but it's very unlikely.

Hmmm ok gotcha. I was ok with the light squeal/metal compound noise, but the wine glass - esque shriek is a bit much lol.
Do you have a non-PP? Wondering if I can easily change the front pads without removing the caliper

So, I have actually had both. My car used to have the 4 piston non-PP brakes and yes, the pads function the same as the Brembo's. Removing the guide pins and they slide out of the back, very easy! I now have the 6 piston PP brakes as I decided to upgrade for next track season! I am the same way, the wine glass shriek was too much, and I started getting looks at my car that was wincing in pain lol! But real track brakes are loud!
