Put stripes on her. I emulated the GT350 teaser render stripes. It turned out exactly as I had hoped.

The 8" stripes are matte black and the .25" pinstripes are gloss white.

Wow, I am very impressed. I may have to use your idea for my car, looks AWESOME!

Evidently my car was the target for poo poo bombardiers yesterday so I cleaned it up again and removed Whiteline trans mount insert.

Why are you removing the insert?

Vibration in the shifter, gas pedal, and steering wheel between 2500 and 4000rpms. I sold a Cobra replica where everything was solid mounted and vibrated. Dont want that anymore.

Did you try cutting a hole through the center tab? You can do that or completely cutoff the center tab and it should reduce or remove the vibration.

Yes, drilled a 3/4" hole in the bottom. Wasnt gonna cut it up, doesnt seem worth it. Didnt notice a major difference in how "solid" it was with it in there. Only the vibration.

Okay, just figured I'd check. It helped a lot with my old car. I'm going to install one on my car soon but maybe I'll havr to cut more off than I expected.

Had the Steeda springs installed on my GT PP. What a difference! So much more stability and confidence in a turn, it's hard to believe. Also, NO DEGRADATION in ride quality AT ALL. With the new springs, one inch lower CG, and an alignment the car handled and tracked so much better than stock. Almost no residual roll. Grand total expense, including springs, installation and alignment: $680. But $680 extremely well spent. Its canyon handling is now much closer to that of my 911, again, hard to believe, but true.

Highly recommended. More on Steeda springs thread(s), including pics, later
