Does anyone know the part number for the longer Gurney flap bolts? I installed the flap today and while attempting to torque one of the bolts to the recommended 5.4nm, the T20 bit slipped and rounded inside the bolt head. I can't tighten it any further, so I'd like to get another one of the bolts so I can replace the one I messed up. I'd rather not have to buy a whole new flap for just a single bolt.

Short (4mm) and long (10mm).

KR3Z-63442K03-A is the PN# for both, to be bought as one item, two bags.

Awesome, thanks! I had the bag, but that number is pretty useless.

This thread has some good information about aftermarket security screws for the Gurney Flap. Aftermarket Gurney Flap Security Screws Link

I went this route for the long screws for the flap (the ones you use when attaching the flap). I used stainless steel T27 Torx screws, black oxide washers, and a very thin fibrous-like washer to keep the washer from marring the flap surface. These are the according part numbers I used from McMaster Carr to make my own screw setup: 91900A862, 90377A127, and 90089A325.

If you need a T27 driver or bit for torquing the new screws down, McMaster Carr sells those as well.

They're a lot more stout than the stock screws and take the torque much better than the stock screws.

My 19, GT-350 came with the handling package (Gurney Flap) in the trunk. The package had no screws in it to attach it to the “Swing” and they had no part # for just the screws.
I stopped by the dealer today asking what price & availability is. Back order with no ETA.
Had them print off for me and Shit a Brick sideways when I got the price

I ran the PN# at www.Fairwayfordparts.net , a site/dealer in OH. I've bought from them before and always gotten good service.

https://www.fairwayfordparts.net/oem-parts/ford-kit-rear-spoiler-repair-kr3z63442k03a

They are currently listing the PN# at a 30% discount. If anything, you could put it on backorder with them at the cheaper price.

Levittown Ford might also offer a good deal.

Edit: Fairway Ford is 200 mi / 320 km away. :frown:. IDK what they'd charge for shipping, or if they can ship to your local dealer through Ford's network. Price matching?

Hey Gentlemen, thanks for the options to get the correct screws from good sources.
$5 per screw to acquire the correct ones is probably not such a bad thing when I think about how I’ve spent other $$$

Hopefully they have them in stock for you guys. I would assume since they say In Stock they have them, especially Tasca. They’re usually pretty good about showing what they actually have on hand.

I went with the McMaster hardware. All the ford parts sites said ships from manufacturer once I added them to my cart, so I don't think they actually have them in stock. McMaster hardware should be delivered Thursday and for less than what Ford wants.

Just an option for future and if :

A) Security screws aren't required.
B) You are not totally set on having OE bolts.

I would be tempted to use stainless cap heads (cheap) and ally cup washers, either in black or body (or pinstripe) colour matched :

Photo as an example only - you can get them in various diameters (for the same bolt size) and to suit CSK or cap head bolts etc.

I think orange on a FJG car or red on the white cars with a red pinstripe, would look really cool :sunglasses:

For some extra bling / bragging rights, you could swap the bolts out for titanium and still come in at under half price of the OE Ford bolts ... :like:
