I had a JLT can on my 11GT. They don't have one for the ecoboost yet though last I checked.UPR cc supposedly has a 'better' SS filter and has quick releases on both ends of the hoses. "You don't have to unclip the hoses from the engine when dumping the caught oil"...But if the can is positioned correctly you can still unscrew the can from the filter top without having to disconnect hoses. I went with JLT.
The dual valve can allows you to utilize two sources of vacuum. In this case, vacuum from the intake manifold and from the turbo inlet. We include a one way check valve for the hose going to the intake manifold, so when the car is under boost, it only uses vacuum from the turbo inlet. It is the most effective and efficient setup!I would like to know the difference between the single valve and dual valve catch can. I assume you are talking about the drain valve, but I rather ask and be sure than assume and be wrong. What is the benefits of the dual valve catch can over the single valve can?
Any comments from non-retailer/manufacturer members?
The JLT two can setup uses separate cans and short simple hoses. The UPR dual valve single can runs hoses all around the engine. Is the 'trade-off' using the UPR system the single/dual vacuum but the requirement to have a more complicated hose run?
UPR also says that the JLT cans only capture half of the oil that the UPR system does.
