This kit is top of my list so I’m a bit concerned - what’s the general theme with regards the fitment and handing issues you have mentioned ?

Do you have any links I could follow, as pretty much everything I have read has been (very) positive ?

Apparently the rear bar sits at a weird angle. I would be interested to see how gt500 cftp cars have the rear sway angled like, someone posted a picture of it but I couldn't really tell if the angle matched the FP handling pack.

Well over the weekend I emailed both Ford Performance and Steeda via their websites asking specific questions on the use of their sway bar kits on my car, and neither one has responded. Wonder if they are unsure or are hesitant to share their recommendations in writing. Very disappointing and not very confidence inspiring.

i ordered the fp magneride spring and swaybar kit (M9602M) from fp about a month ago for a '19 pp1. other than the order confirmation email i haven't heard from them. i called last week and they said since it had been more than 10 business days they'd priority fast track it. but still no parts or communication.

@tj@steeda can you help us out? I filled out the Steeda online contact form last week but haven't heard an answer, maybe just because of the holidays.

For those of us with Mach 1's with the handling package, what front and rear sway bar settings would you recommend for your 555-1017 kit to reduce body roll in corners (street driving, not track) but keep the stock oversteer/understeer balance? The rear bar in the kit seems to be disproportionally large compared to the front and I'm concerned that it will change a pretty neutral experience to lots of oversteer. Thanks!

I’m ordering the completion sway bar kit from Steeda. The competition rear bar is softer.

With stock HP suspension I’ve found the car has too much oversteer/rear bar. It’s okay in ideal circumstances but once I get a little heat in the tires it’s too loose. If I did only one bar I’d go with the softer rear.

I forgot to add, many competitors that autocross Mach 1’s in F-street (rules state you can only change one bar-both both) are using the competition rear bar from Steeda to soften the rear. If I couldn’t change both bars that’s what I’d do, but I’m different. I autocross and open track occasionally so not worried about classes. I wish the car had more roll stiffness but I cannot tolerate any more drop in ride height with the lower splitter nor a more firm ride for the road trips I take with my wife. This is the best compromise. I know the Steeda dual rates can be paired with spacers from Steeda to raise the front and rear back to stock ride height, but I’m really happy with the HP springs. I feel the car just needs more roll stiffness and the ability to soften the rear end for better balance.

Car is perfect just as it is. It needs nothing. Save your money and buy your wife some shoes, or buy your dog a new toy. Stop looking to do unnecessary BS. I have never had a car that actually felt this well sorted right out of the box.
JK, you can do what you’d like.

I liked almost everything about the car except for the handling. It can't manage the weight properly and struggles with understeer. Much better after camber plates, springs, and sway bars.

Almost 2 weeks and crickets from both Steeda and Ford Performance. I am officially now hesitant to use either set. Normally @tj@steeda is pretty responsive but he hasn't answered the above post requesting assistance either. Is the application of their sway bars to a handling package Mach 1 beyond their capabilities to calculate?
